Only complaint… volume adjustment is slightly annoying-it’s digital, so no knob. Wouldn’t be a problem if I had controls on my steering wheel. Top notch sales guidance and installation by Brett at Orange, CA (Tustin Ave store)

Bought the pioneer camera and pioneer 6.5 door speakers to go with it. It vastly increase the sound quality and volume. Wireless android auto/carplay is nice. Good looking unit. Works flawlessly. Wish it had a volume knob, but it is what it is.

Good screen, ZERO instructions for SWC

I ended up buying multiple pioneer radios and wiring harnesses that claimed to support SWC in my model of car with pioneer radios and no combinations worked. The instructions mentioned nothing about SWC setup aside from indicating where to plug them in. I ended up having to make my own hardware using an arduino to get swc to work. Insane! Wireless car play is nice at least.. yay..!

In most cases, you would use an interface to retain the factory steering wheel controls.
Companies like iDataLink or Metra will make adapters to be compatible with most vehicles.
It converts the factory interface and just connect to the SWC port on our stereo. They are programed for the specific vehicle.

The addition of wireless CarPlay is nice.
