This head unit does so many things, from video display, playing all different types of audio and video formats from disk and USB and SD card. It also does Android auto and apples auto program. I use it mostly for SiriusXM radio but you have to buy the tuner for it, and the backup camera. So far so good.

I wanted to upgrade my system to handsfree Bluetooth, Apple Car Play,and most important a Rearview Camera..not only did I get all of those, but I was able to incorporate my Sirius and my factory BOSE system...albeit with a few add on components...sound is much better as well.

This product is amazing! The sound quality is exceptional and the included back up camera is perfect! Both items were installed by Best Buy flawlessly and neatly. Very happy with this product. This package is the one you need if you are upgrading your cars stereo.

Apple Carplay is pretty awesome I am loving it and still finding it an adventure as I push buttons to find out what it does and does not do. I lam especially happy with the Bluetooth and phone piece. The sound is great. Happy? YES! CarPlay works perfect.

Makes my car feel like its about 5 years newer. I do wish there was some way of getting google maps to work with apple car play but cant really fault pioneer on that. I will note however that I do sometimes have connectivity issues between my iPhone 8 plus and the receiver which is why I wont give it 5 stars.

This item was purchased as a Christmas gift and installed by Best Buy. The features were excellent, and it was a fantastic buy that was a special sale item when we purchased it. The audio features are excellent, and produces a wonderful sound through the factory installed speakers. The video is is sharp, and plays high-res DVDs like a home system, and the sound is spot on crisp and easy to discern all the subtleties of the sound track. With the excellent installation of the backup camera, it added an extra safety feature to the vehicle and has upgraded this older vehicle to add much more modern features. High quality MP3 tracks sound as good as any system I have heard. My grandson was really pleased with his Christmas gift, and my wife and I were pleased with our choice of systems.

Great stereo with a lot of features. Bought primarily to add backup camera and Android Auto to a used car I bought. I'm very happy with it. Only drawback I've found is the display can be hard to see in bright sun. I had to turn the brightness control off of auto, which helped a lot.

I've looked for an affordable in dash DVD/Bluetooth unit with CarPlay for some time. This unit fills the bill. It is sharp looking and has numerous features to make my life easier and more enjoyable.

The Pioneer system has made safety and entertainment a premium in my vehicle. The quality and ease of use has far exceded my expectations. The system seems to be of very high quality and useability.

I am using this product for about a month now and was purchased primarily to use Android Auto. It is definitely a great investment even though it is little pricey. The sound quality is amazing with so many settings. Plus the Geek Squad team was really professional in doing the installation. Overall, I am very happy with the product.

This head unit is soo much better than my stock one!! The sound quality is like night and day. Even the Bluetooth streaming is flawless. No connectivity issues. Included camera is a plus

Bought this head unit to replace factory nav unit in my 06 Vette. Couldn't be happier. The sound is outstanding, really woke up the factory Bose speakers. Android Auto is awesome as well

Got this unit as an upgrade from a junk stock deck on a 04 Chevy HD truck. Still haven't used all the features and loving it. I am an audiophile and this deck has great sound capabilities. It will, of course, depend ultimately on what kind of speakers you have. The custom EQ's, assignable filters, and adjustable slopes allowed me to dial things right in. Have A 12" sub running to round out the low end of things and couldn't be happier. Apple carplay is a nice feature. Deck comes with an external microphone, and back up camera. I would normally have installed myself, but don't have the time! Bought the Geek Squad install deal for the deck, camera, and external microphone. They did a great job and saved me a lot of time! Kudos!! Ext mic: Phone calls are clear and haven't had any complaints from anyone while driving even with Windows down. Backup camera has an adjustable guide on screen, although not as nice as the factory one in my other vehicle, but the camera is clear and eases my trailer connecting process!! Again, for the price, a great deal. Carplay was a little tricky to figure out in regards to the interface with the deck, but feel totally spoiled with it when not able to utilize features in other vehicles. All you need is a USB to lightning cable to plug into deck and your iOS device and turn Siri on in your settings and off ya go! The deck screen gave me some trouble after first installed. The trim kit for the install kit prevented the screen from being able to adjust it's angle or eject features. Once I popped that trim kit off it worked like a charm. Touch screen is very responsive, there is dimmer adjustability, color options like crazy, and a remote! So now I can give that to the kids and let them have the fun while I focus on driving. Overall this unit is a great value given its features and sound and connection capabilities. I looked at many other units in price ranges well above this one. So glad I went with this! Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I like most the CARPLAY and the bluetooth and the back up camera which made my driving more relaxing and i would highly recommend this product and this model no. to my friends

The Pioneer AVH-4201 NEX comes with lots of great features for the price such as HD radio AndroidAuto Apple CarPlay and a backup camera. I Highly recommend this receiver

Love the touch screen and Apple Car play. Rear camera is excellent. The screen does become a little hard to see in the direct sunlight, but that may just be the car. I recommend. Also recommend Geek Squad installation.

The radio, back up camera, is Amazing! Pioneer Apple/Android Car Play with Blue Tooth in dash is great and Best Buy offered the best price on the product and on instillation.

Reviewed this over and over on internet and finally got it installed! Very glad I did, it is incredible! The Apple car play and backup camera are perfect!

This is a great radio with tons of features. I bought it to replace a failing Clarion 1 DIN unit I bought a few years ago. I got this unit for 2 main reasons. 1). Carplay support AND Android Auto support (so I'm not locked into a platform). 2. The screen is detachable. Sadly however, I had to install this myself but wanted to have it professionally installed. Unfortunately, they couldn't install it in my car (2007 Dodge Caliber R/T). The issue appears to be the bezel the car has. I had to go out and order a new bezel to fit the radio. Was also disappointed they didn't even offer a mounting kit. And the harness they sold me was wrong. However, I could reuse my old smart harness from my Clarion. I’m giving the radio 4 stars because of the installation headache.

I wanted to update my stereo to play Siriusxm, but then with the new "hands-free" law, it was necessary to upgrade. I love that I can call, text, have my texts read to me, and get directions all by speaking a command. When this was installed, I was using an Android phone, so I was able to experience Android Auto before I switched to an iPhone. I prefer Apple CarPlay over Android Auto only because it seems to have better functionality and options. However, I liked the background of Android Auto. Great stereo and Best Buy's stereo installer did a great job and was easy to work with.
