Works as I had hoped. Only thing more I could ask is an HDMI port

This is a very expensive project has a booth almost $400 for the head unit plus another $400 for somebody to customize to place it into my Volkswagen 2015 GTI so I returned it and Best Buy does not do any kind of custom work

Using Google maps through android auto sucks. It takes my phone away from my bluetooth headphones and sometimes the hands free feature doesn't link up. It gives me too much to do while driving.

Slow response whenever you press the touch screen. Short story the touch screen isnt perfect. Theres about a 2sec delay after you press it. The item is affordable

This radio was a lot of fun once I was able to figure it out but in the end still had things I could’ve used but couldn’t get it set right

The deck worked well for a few months and now it makes a buzzing noise like a disc is in it but there are no cd’s/dvd’s In it.

The Apple Play is spotty, and the controls are inconsistent and challenging.

Has some great features. Just wish I could use the autoplay without connecting it to a USB cord.

I thought I got a good deal because of the sales and is a good stereo but definately is not what is described in this website. To start, does not have a module for steering wheel buttons for my specific car to work with radio. Second and more importantly, is not a detachable screen. It shows detachable on website. Didn't find out until after installed. And now sometimes android auto restarts every now and then. Maybe apple audio works better. I believe this info is a bestbuy mistake because after going home and reading the pamphlet the stereo came with, it obviously states different specs than bestbuy's website. I would have been better off buying the cheaper version because it's basically the same thing. One last recommendation, be sure to speak with installer about figments and accessories. Bestbuy's website said everything was compatible and found out after installation that most accessories weren't with my vehicle.

Seemed a little buggy or glitchy. Returned it and got a Sony XAV

After doing a ton of research I am SO disappointed with this radio. I purchased it for the WAZE capibility and it is horrible! First of all you have to have your phone plugged in (mine was installed in the dash board- so it's a big stretch whenever I need it).The "Search" does not work at all on the radio screen, I have to enter the location on my phone (which defeats the purpose). While it's in use my iphone will randomly shut down and the screen will just black out, which is not good while you're driving and have to re-start your phone. I cannot listen to Pandora while also using WAZE, and the bluetooth connection will just disconnect also at random while driving. I notice this when I hear my phone ringing in my dashboard. I'm planning on returning.

I would say that this is a total rip off of a system. If you want to keep any steering wheel controls, back up system, FM radio- basically anything you have to spend $150-300 extra to get the right wire harnesses. Not to mention that most of these harnesses are only sold at Best Buy. I went to Best Buy to try and ask for help finding these harnesses and it was suggested that I schedule an appt and have a professional install it. After waiting two weeks I had this done, come to find out the guy didn't even install the back up camera. So I had to spend another $50 for that harness and the cost of labor. Overall, im VERY disappointed with my purchase and the customer service of Best Buy!

within the first few months its starting glitching out where it just randomly restarts and the restart for it takes a few minutes and more often than not it do this multiple times by time it does work properly again it would be no use for it because would have already reached my destination, just looking for the time off work to back and return because the installation was a process of hours

CD/DVD stopped working after less than a year and after last firmware update. I was able to use it only once. I talked to Pioneer and there is not that much of a local support. I have to take the unit out and send it somewhere out or my own pocket. I told them about Bestbuy installation but they didn't care that much. Everything else works and there is a lot on the net about CD player issues for Pioneer radios. I'm sorry I didn't go with the other brand.

Bought this as used, everything work fine but after long periods of play time the unit powers off by itself, I shouldn’t have waited too long before returning the unit back, just be cautious and try to buy new when possible. It’s not Best Buy issue but a manufacturers issue.

Great on paper, but after waiting two hours for the installation and starting the link with my phone I find out that it will not pair with my older I-Phone. Very disappointing and a waste of 3 hours of my time and the time of the installer. It might be great, but I'll never know.

This stereo is great. Carplay is awesome. You can make calls and texts (through Siri) right on the display. When a call or text comes in you can see who it is or what it says right on screen. Especially love the maps on screen. It's like having a built in GPS now. Bluetooth is good on this unit too. Connects instantly every time you start vehicle. You can only manage phone calls and music through bluetooth though. I had Best Buy install this along with 4 new JBL speakers and they did a phenomenal job. Looks like it came this way from the factory. Best Buy also put the USB input where the "cigarette lighter" used to be and it looks like factory did it too. Don't have to worry about a "dangling" USB cord or it hidden in the glove box or something. Now I have a USB port built into the dash next to my stereo to plug in my phone. Definitely recommend having Best Buy install for you. I saw on here people complaining of the "glare" on the screen. I saw that at first too but this stereo has a "screen tilt" feature that tilts the screen slightly up to eliminate the glare. There are about 5 different degrees of tilt so everyone should be able to eliminate the glare on the screen. I only needed to tilt 1 degree and glare is gone. Once you set the tilt to your liking it will automatically go back to that setting every time you start your vehicle so you don't have to worry about it anymore.
