I originally purchased a Pioneer AVIC 8000 NEX about 3 years ago, after doing some research for my Altima. I wanted improved Navigation and the Backup camera it did not have. Two years later I browsed a Web Dealer Sale ad and traded the Altima in on an upscale SUV which has even more bells and whistles than the Pioneer AVIC. But, that drove me to want to upgrade the head unit in another SUV I have so I could have a similar convenience group experience as I drove,. During the holidays the Pioneer AVIC W8400 NEX went on sale at Best Buys and with my Total Tech support (have used several times prior ) the installation was free. So, I jump on the deal buying separately the ready harness installation gear to retain steering wheel control and some other harnesses for features which was also priced very competitively at Best Buys. Anyway, the installation at Best Buys took a little longer than anticipated but worth the wait. The W8400Nex matches my newer SUV by having Bluetooth (or USB) Apple CarPlay which means just get in the car and drive away and I can immediately use voice commands to respond to text messages and other functions. The AVIC W8400NEX also retains a DVD/CD player which was another big selling point for me. My license plate camera was purchased form a third party. My older SUV now with the AVIC W8400NEX which already functioned well and looked good in addition to also has a good CR reliability record so it made sense to me to get the latest head unit features Head up! HD reception may be spotty in your area so don't immediately blame the HD reception drop outs on the AVIC W8400NEX. I experienced that issue original with my AVIC 8000NEX installed in the Altima and after some investigation (you can search online for all the HD stations in your area and broadcast range) to discovered I was on the outer fringe of HD reception from one my favorite radio station with HD based on the wattage they were allow to transit. So, depending on the weather, atmosphere and where I drive I go back to listening to the old analog signal I had prior to the upgrade. Finally, I kept my stock speakers and the AVIC W8400NEX's default "Powerful" equalizer setting's make the SUV sound so much I mean much better than they did with the factory stock head unit. So, no speaker upgrade in in my future. I highly recommend the unit as a replacement for your not new car's factory Head Unit. One last thing: Pioneer only honors the warranty when sold through their authorized dealers. Search online at Pioneer to see who are these authorized dealers are and the issues. Best Buy is an authorized seller.

We put this in a 2013 Toyota Sienna. Spending money causes me pain, and I almost never write reviews; however, I must say that I'm extremely happy with this deck and BB's installation. I haven't had it long, but I have absolutely no regrets so far. Started with Sony AX-210, but it couldn't be installed to my liking, plus we had a lot of problems with functionality (e.g. camera would engage when we came to a halt).

There is no price match on Amazon you can get in 847.
