Hi, I have a one plus 6 device. When I tried to connect the Android auto in my sonata equipped with pioneer AVH W4400NEX, it goes to the screen "to use AA please stop your car and check your Android phone" (even though the car is already stopped and parked) then a screen pop up on my phone, it will ask to swipe up to unlock. Then it will go into a loop by doing the same thing (asking multiple times to swipe up to unlock). This happens sometimes. If ever it connects successfully then the complete audio system reboots (you can see it at the beginning of the video), this will also go in a loop (rebooting multiple times). I just replaced the entire head unit of my 2015 sonata just for the AA. I am totally disappointed that AA doesn't work at all. I heard that people with Android P have this issue. When tried to connect apple, it connected flawlessly both wired and wireless. est Chakravarthy G

This thing works great when you can get it to connect. It’s supposed to connect instantly through Bluetooth but it doesn’t. Even if you connect it via Lightning connect direct it’s hit or miss. Very frustrated with this.

Look at reviews for Pioneer and Kenwood. Reviewed different models. Wanted Apple Car Play and Android Auto since my wife and I have different phones. Installed the Pioneer and have been extremely pleased. Easy to use and made my stock speakers sound much better than before. Can't miss with this.

I made an online purchase from Bestbuy.com. I purchased the Pioneer Model:AVH-W4400NEX, SKU:6228667. The online description stated the touch screen was capacitive when in fact it is resistive. This is an advertisement which is an important factor in quality, price, and would lead many consumers to purchase this product solely on this false product description. I also have an issue with the unit being described to be able to connect wireless to android phones. I called Pioneer directly after install when my Samsung 8 Plus would not connect and was informed the only phones capable of wireless connecting are the Google Pixel. The wireless and screen feature is a 100- 200 dollar price difference from similar products without these features. Overall I was lead to believe my phone would work with this product and was mislead and the product description is not only misleading but wrong. Unit itself looks nice but can't perform as advertised with androids that's what lead me to give it one star.

my daughter had a this installed in her car by Best Buy's auto installation dept. the tech was super nice and helped us order all necessary parts and install was smooth and new stereo works great

Constant issues all related to crappy unfixed firmware! Absolutely take the enjoyment out of using the head unit. You krenge every time you get in the vehicle and turn it just hoping that THIS time it will function properly and you wont have to remove the face in order to reboot it because it froze up AGAIN.

Works and looks great in my car. I am now able to text and make phone calls hands free. And, the mic sounds clear when I call others. Great product, and I highly recommend it.

My old pioneer double din stopped working after 8 years, so the choice was easy to stay with pioneer!! Great products!!

I bought this for my truck. It replaced a 2 year old Kenwood and I like the user friendliness. I’m now a Pioneer user and I don’t think I’ll be looking back.

I bought this system because I wanted an in dash GPS and a bigger screen for backup rear camera. Well, it has GPS but the when the backuo camera is engaged, there are no lines available... you know, the lines that guides you as you line up and back into a parking space. Luckily, they werent able to take off the rear backup camera on the rearview mirror so I still use that. I made a mistake buying this brand.

Good product, but intermittently would not connect. Not soon often, but the problem persisted.

I wanted to upgrade my car to Hands Free before its mandatory later in the year. I also enjoy all the different features of my apple car play.
