It shakes slightly when you hit a bump on the road, and that makes me worried that's going to effect the components and connections in the long term.

I would suggest having the installer check the installation. The screen is held in place with about 10 screws, it should not move at all. The screen does make it front heavy, so the installer would need to make sure the chassis is properly secured.
