Very basic functions good for those who just want a stereo without all the extras

Eq settings require you to make the right adjustments to use perfectly with amp. Great screen size, feedback and audio quality overall. An amazing unit for price and quality. Great update for my Jeep JK!

Great alternative to magnify the traditional double din and uppgrade like modern cars

This model is for you if you are more concerned with a large floating screen and a crisp sound, and less concerned with the actual tech. It is Apple Carplay and Android Auto COMPATIBLE... basically there are a couple of hoops you'll have to jump through in order to get either to work perfectly. I installed this for one day, then gave it to my cousin and purchased the DMH-W2770NEX. A smaller screen set into the dash instead of floating, but it has the great sound that Pioneer is known for, as well as already having Apple Carplay and Android Auto installed. But if you're after sound and aesthetics more than sound and tech, this is definitely your model

good radio little too basic.. but it's a good starter deck. on top of that the price dropped 50 bucks and customer service didnt wanna hinor the price drop. i had the radio friday on pick up installed saturday and went on wednesday sobinwas with in the 2 week price match guarantee

Its easy to set up no carplay but fine with me easy to use , would recommend if new to car audio

Pioneer has greatly missed the mark on this one and as of this review, no updates are available. Sound quality is spot on and power is sufficient for most installations. Programming use abilities are extremely lacking as you will not be able to mirror the screen of either an android or an iPad or iPhone without some major trial and error tweeking (a week later I still cannot screen mirror either my android phone or my iPad both are fully updated). Why pioneer decided to not use the industry standards for mobile connectivity is only apparent as a way to encourage customers to purchase their much higher priced NEX series that does include industry standards for mobile connectivity. Unfortunately pioneer is pushing away the very customers they need as these customers will be moving on to other manufacturers because they feel like pioneer doesn't care what their customers want - an easy connection solution that all other competitors are offering for less than pioneer's top of the line models. You can not even use this model for navigation without applying the emergency brake... Seriously pioneer? Where are we going to go with the break applied?

I'm only reviewing this cause I think its something people should know. I never installed this head unit because out of the box I noticed that because of the way the face of the unit swivels, it had a slight "looseness" to the way it sat. It just felt like if I touched one side of the screen then the other, the unit would move. I didnt like the way that felt. I needed it to be tighter or give me the option to tighten it. To me, it seems like something that would get worse over time. And then eventually I would have a floppy head unit just hanging there that I either needed to prop up or replace. I also felt like the face of the head unit could accidentally get broken off if something weird were to happen. It does not feel sturdy. I guess that's what I'm getting at. So I cut to the chase and got the Pioneer DMH-342EX, which is basically identical to this unit but a smaller more traditional screen. After install, the DHM-342EX works wonderfully. I will be writing a review on that as well. TLDR; I gave this a four star because its smaller brother the DHM-342EX is great, but I didnt like how loose it felt.

A great floating screen radio if you do not use apple carplay. Very user friendly, great screen size, just lacks the expensive technology.

Looks really nice but you are so limited on what you can do you might as well have a factory stereo. The one that came in my truck I could listen to SeriousXM and it was 10 years old. When I have the map open on my phone I can see it on the stereo but have to download multiple apps to do so. However it closes all the time and have to restart it. Was not work the $360.

Great radio, excellent sounds for a very reasonable price. Installation was prompt and efficient. Large back up camera is a big plus. All went as I've learned to expect from Best Buy

Item was open box and was supposed to have all necessary parts, only non essential parts was listed as missing. I got the item with no box only the radio itself and non of the items needed for install. I only had about 2 weeks to return the item. I had to return the item because the needed equipment to install would arrive after the return period and since it was open box I could not verify that the item was functional until I got it installed/tested at a best buy that was an hour away from me.

It’s a beautiful head unit. Make sure that this unit fits your vehicle before you get disappointed.

Compared to former Pioneer car stereo's it's missing features iI used like extra video inputs, for cameras, android auto is a major issue. It shold at least have sceen cast without the difficult app the download and then wait for the connection but if you dont need that it's ok

very cost effective!!! graphic are are few but clear. the down fall to the system is Weblink. this is the only way to use any navigation or digital music.
