Try formatting the memory to FAT32 or NTSF.
Also try a different brand of USB drive. Some brands will act differently.

Posted .I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the DMH-T450EX.
This model does not offer Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. You can use the Weblink feature to stream Waze navigation to the screen.
If needed, contact our Product Support at 1-800-421-1404, select option 1. They will walk you through the setup.

You are correct, the DMH-T450EX does not have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
It uses Weblink to allow you to display the navigation functions.

I did not work for our model car as it was a gift to my dad from us we did not realize he had climate control integration to his screen. Otherwise these screens are great for aging eyes.
