I bought this car stereo for my son's car. He is a new driver, and as you know most teenagers (drivers) use their phones to listen to music. One day I saw him using earphones while driving and that’s when I decided to get a car stereo where you can connect the phone also. This stereo has cool features. Once you connect the phone via the USB port you can play music thru the car speakers while its charging the phone. Also control the phone via the car stereo controls. The stereo itself is very powerful. I did not change the speakers in the car but I highly recommend that you do. Music quality is great. Lots of bells and whistles. Phone calls are NOT routed to the car speakers, I see this as a downside on the unit when connected thru the USB port. I wish it had that too, hence the 4 stars. I love it, my son loves it. We will recommend this to anyone who is looking for a similar car stereo on a budget.

This model was one of the least expensive units on display at the store, and is far more than adequate. Unless you need a built-in Bluetooth or HD, this will get the job done. Plays CDs, accepts anything with a USB connection (I.e. music from your iPhone through a lightning to USB cable) or a standard headphone-sized jack (3.5mm jack). The changing colors aren't necessary to me, but it makes the unit look fancier than it really is. Overall, it gets the job done.

Considering the price, I definitely believe I got my money's worth. I installed the unit myself (first time) and it was relatively easy. The unit has nice features and I especially like the iPod and iPhone support. My main problem with this product is the fact that the LED screen in nearly impossible to read when it is bright outside. Besides the one flaw with the unit, I am really pleased with my purchase.

This is my daughters 3rd car and i have bought this stereo for all 3 cars. It has everything she needs and sounds great! The price is good as well. Over all great product for a great price.

The system is good, but it uses presets for audio equalizer. In other words it does not have option where you can adjust treble, Bass and the middle tone. However, it gives you the opportunity to adjust each component of equalizer. For example, it would give you an option to increase or decrease the wave in 250 KHz or something like that. It seemed to me confusing, for you have to know which wave is for treble and which for bass and for the middle tones. That is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I do not care about the music formats because MP3 format is enough to listen to music. If you have music in other format you can easily convert to MP3.

I purchased the above listed product and had it installed in my car by Bestbuy personell. I use my Pioneer Car Stereo to play CD's and listen to my music library and Pandora App on my iPhone 4 while driving in my car. Sound quality meets expectations and serves me well as an average listener. Syncing with my iPhone 4 and Pandora should be faster as I deal with the dreaded "format read" message on the LCD screen on the product whenever initially starting listening experience. The problem does go away.

This stereo has good sound for the price. The "Mix" button is now the brightest lights in my car. Almost returned it because of this. Distracting at first, but you get used to it. And it turns out this button is for a feature I will never use. The custom light colors are separate for the buttons and display. It's hard to make the colors match if you use the custom colors. Easy to get the buttons to match the color of my dashboard lights but not so easy to get the display to the right color. USB port is for power only for Android devices. Need to have an additional cable to the Aux Input to listen to the music on my phone. Two cable one from the top of my phone and another from the bottom is a little cumbersome.

I had it installed at Best Buys and they did a good job. It works well, my daughter loves using the remote in the back seat and we can finally play CDs. Nice addition to our new car.

great sounding stereo, slick interface with my ipod, but initial setup and figuring out the features requires a lot of reading of the owners manual. Also the change to this stereo from the factory unit in my 2007 Honda Pilot left me with reduced FM radio reception that the Best Buy technician advised was common with my vehicle and others

For the Price, it is a good sounding cd player. Its not the easiest to use right away, I had issues trying to get into the menu screens. Also, seems if you start using the buttons on the screen.. and then try and use the remote afterwards... remote does not work. If you start with remote and continue to use it, it is fine.

Good stereo with several features (USB, CD, detachable faceplate). Color of display can be changed to match the rest of the console. Make sure you get help from salesman on cables needed for installation. Once you have the right parts, it is easy to install. Good value.

I'm very happy with this product. I like that I can change the color to what I want. With the USB port it connects directly to my iPhone. Very good stereo for the price. Pioneer never fails to deliver.

Nothing spectacular its an in dash radio. Setup is a breeze, the display (depending on which color you choose) can be difficult to see during daylight hours. The "Broadcast Display" mode works only when the station signal is very strong.

This unit was easy to install. My only complaint is that the display for the station or track is dim. During the day it is very hard to see even after trying to find the brightest color. The sound is good and easy to adjust.

Not much to say... I just needed a decent cd player that also had Ipod hook up ability and this worked out good. Again, not the best out there but not the worst. It plays good and I have had no problems with it.

I got this radio to replace a broken deck. I love that I can change the faceplate colors whenever I want. And it's pretty easy and simple to use.

I bought this radio for my daughter and had it installed in her car. It actually bought a lot of life to her car. Good sound and she is able to hood her IPhone up to it.

Great radio for the price. Like the changing colors. Great reception. Installed it myself after watching an installation video on YouTube and was not difficult.

Good radio. My only gripe is that the display is not bright enough during day time and as a result is almost impossible to see the digits and text.
