They added a switch that we could use either backing up or while driving to check traffic. We love it.

The item was described as being in excellent condition. On 11/14/2025 I went to get a head unit and the rearview camera installed in my 95 Chevy Impala SS. The installer said he couldn't use the rearview camera as it was damaged. The installer showed me where the wires were cut. I spoke with someone via chat from best buy.com and they advised me to take the item to my nearest best buy. Today, I went to my nearest best buy only for "Mylah" and another gentleman to tell me because the item is out of the return policy there is nothing they can do unless I spend $49.99. For some kind of product something. Out of frustration I will not be buying anything else for best buy EVER. I chose to leave the damaged rearview camera on the counter. I simply requested a new rearview camera that I can actually use. When someone returns a product, is it inspected to insure it will operate properly? I already have the answer to that. It is disgusting to sell people open box items and list them in excellent condition when no one checks them. Again, I won't be buying ANYTHING ELSE FROM BEST BUY EVER AGAIN.

Poor Installer

This guys does Best Buy no justice. His attitude is real bad. Had me wait 30 mins doing god knows what before her started my install

The cost actually doubled. Now although the back up camera works the other applications don't. Also the fitting meant that the wrong facia wasnt right so gad to go and buy a different one from another store so it could be fitted. I did not expect to have to pay $900 for this when i was told the $350 price included all.

A reverse camera would not need what you have described, you may be referring to a stereo.
