Hard to believe you can get a quality, no exceptional, subwoofer for under $150, but it's true. I've bought two of these - one for my home office and another for work - and I'm considering buying a third for a small media room. Great sound. Great price.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A SUBWOOFER TO COMPLIMENT MY HOME THEATER SYSTEM. THIS FIT THE BILL. I WAS'NT LOOKING TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY. THIS WAS A GOOD VALUE AND HAS A GOOD BASS SOUND I WAS LOOKING FOR. VERY EASY TO SET UP. I AM VERY SATISFIED.

Makes a soundbar sound like a speaker system. This is a good power subwoofer; not the top of the line and not great for concert hall sounds. ideal for a 2nd or 3rd TV in a medium size room

The speaker was easy to set up and incorporate into the system. Has a great sound and gives an added depth to your listening experience.

Awesome sub for the price. Great for music, but not as much for movies due to lower power output. Bass is fast and tight.

Was upset my old Boston sub went out, but ended up being a great thing. This sub puts out good quality deep sound. The only downfall is the blue power light in front.

I bought it because it was an open box item with the thought that it could get me through until I found one I really liked. It sounds great and I'm no longer looking for one. Great price for this.

For the overall small size of the box and small size of the sub, this unit really works great. I was worried that 100 watts wasn't going to be enough power to give me the bass I wanted. I was wrong. I have the "volume" set at just a tick past half and I find that for some music/tv/movies, this is too much. I still need to play around with the location, but that will have to wait till I get a cord long enough. Until then, Fist bump to Pioneer.

I built a new home and installed a theater room. It is the highlight of the home. I initially did not buy a subwoofer until I saw this Pioneer model at an incredible price. It is perfect and works well with components from different manufacturers. Pioneer has always been great.

For a small-meium room, this is a great choice for the $$. I would buy several as this cant be beat.

Very good for the price. Fits in with my surround sound system and sounds great. Easy to set up and use. Its not to big as im in an apartment it does not take up a lot of space

This was purchased to be used with a tv sound bar and it balances out the sound wonderfully. Great price and quality.

I'm using the sub woofer with a Vizio soundbar. Before the sub woofer soundbar was very poor. Now with sub woofer soundbar is excellent.

For a budget-conscious consumer, this sub is a great way to round out the low frequencies. It works particularly well when paired with the other Pioneer speakers in its series. A good sub should be able to fill in the low-end frequencies without attracting too much attention, and this guy makes a quality set of speakers sound full. This is due to its clarity and tasteful crossover ability. If your goal is to get the walls shaking during explosions and what not, it may be best to look elsewhere. Don't be mistaken, this sub sounds great and powerful with TV and movies, but its strengths are in creating a natural, balanced bottom end.

I forgot how much fun it was to watch a movie with surround sound. This sound box has amazing bass and makes you feel what is going on.

This is my second pioneer subwoofer, the same exact as my first one that I purchased from best buy about three years ago. I could not wait to get the same subwoofer for my second sound system. Good quality.
