Clear sounds, not much low end. High volumes cause popping.

Used as a upgrade without a amp and they sound great for the money fit perfectly without any modifications.

I bought these to replace a set of 4 speakers in my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. They fit fairly well into the existing speaker cavities in the doors, though a little drilling had to be done to secure them. The sound AWESOME for what they are. I mean, I know I could have gone higher end, but I'm not sure I would have gotten enough of an improvement out of them to make the extra money worth it.

Great sound for a great price. These speakers made a big difference in a convertible car, for a very decent price.

Ok, So these went into my son's S-10. The factory door speakers are the typical garbage paper cone speakers. Now these were only 50 bucks, So I wasn't expecting much and that's exactly what I got. Yes being that they are 3 way the highs are more defined, however the lows are seriously lacking. All you can squeeze from these is a whole lot of highs and upper mids. Not bad for 50 bucks, but really should be paired with a micro sub.

I initially installed directly to the factory head unit. Sound was very disappointing with no bass and limited mid range. After connecting to an Amp and a line output converter, sound was phenomenal for the price point. Great range of sound with good mids and lows. I would assume that this wouldn't be an issue with an aftermarket head unit. If properly set up, these speakers won't disappoint.

This is my 2nd pair of these speakers... I had just 1 speaker blow after 3 years of daily driver abuse lol... I like to listen to music loud. These sound good at almost any volume and deliver a richer more full sound than 2way speakers that I was always used to using, but in this car I didn't want to have to add a subwoofer. These along with a pair of 6x9 in the rear and it delivers what I was looking for
