For those who about to buy it I'll give some useful information.
This device has only one sample rate clock 48khz. It means that it is able to native decode only 48khz, 96khz and 192khz sample rates.
Does NOT natively supports 44.1khz, 88.2khz, 176.4khz, DSD2.8, DSD5.6, DSD11.2
It may playback all these rates but will convert them to 48khs rate.
As a result you get a grate sound (thanks to esse sabre dac) when listen 48/96/192 but because of converting sound is not as clear and accurate on 44.1/88.2/176.4/DSD sample rates.
16bit 44.1khz sample rate is most popular for music as for today because it's CD quality files (FLAC/WAV/AppleLosless etc.) and mp3/aac.
As a fact this player can natively playback only some HiRes PCM rates and does not a good job on everything else including DSD.
You can see it on player screen.
Take a look at screenshots on the bottom you can see on left side it shows file original sample rate and on right side it shows how it will be transfered to sound processor. You can see how FLAC 44.1 converts to 48 PCM for output and dsf 5.6mhz dsd converts to 192khz PCM for output. If connect this player to DAC (oppo HA-2 for example) output sample rate will be shown same as file original.
