I have the pbv4 smoker. I have had it for 6 months. It has now been broken for almost two months. First it was the igniter. Customer service was fine but it took over two weeks to get it. I had planned to cook leg qrters and a turkey that week. Had to take the turkey to someone else’s house to smoke. New igniter did not fix it. Found out when I went to smoke rack of pork. Had to cook that in the oven. They are sending a new control board. Almost two months and it is still broken as I am still waiting on the control board.

Horrible warranty and customer service

We bought this smoker 4 months ago and it has never worked correctly. Pit Boss' warranty sucks. They expect you to replace and work on parts of your NEW $600 smoker that you just bought. I have been dealing with customer service for months now and I am no closer to getting a resolution. It is horrible that they do not stand behind their products. I wish I could give a 0 rating. Not happy with this purchase.
