If you are looking for a electric vertical smoker, STOP this is the one. Packaged extremely well, easy to put together, works great, holds more than enough pellets, easy to clean up. I haven't found a single thing i would complain about with this unit,

Smoking meats made easy. Temperature is on point. No issues with different types of pellets. Easy to clean.

Not happy at all,assembly was easy,but the smoker it self has some problems.Doors don’t line up,one side is even,but other one is lower,also has smoke coming out of the door side more than the top it self even when is opened completely full,maybe because of door being not even.Other most important problem is temperature.Set it on 400 and temperature went up to 470,I understand it can go up then go down but not by 70 degrees for 25 minutes straight.For the price it cost I think it can be much much better

This is my 3rd pit boss vertical smoker. I like this new model as the placement of the controls are up on the side vs down front bottom. The wifi app keeps me from constantly going out to check the temperature of the smoker and 3 probes. Other design improvements are simple yet adequate like the water pan, and new drip pan. Oddly, this new smoker appears to cook quickly, even when trying to go low and slow. I think its more efficient and very easy to use. I have smoked lamb, chicken breasts, steak filets, county style beef and pork ribs, a 20 pound turkey, and of course brisket with no problems what so ever. Absolutely worth the money.

Incredible! Just finished 4 racks of ribs and pork shoulder today. The shoulder isn’t done yet but the ribs are AMAZING! Got an incredible smoke ring on the ribs. Bones literally slid right out. Love using the pellets, and the digital factor is a huge help

After a little bit of a challenge putting this together, I have been very happy with the performance of this smoker. Kept heat well and was easy to use. It is very important to follow the directions on using the smoker…this is the first time I have owned a pellet smoker…was more old school (wood). But it’s easy and keeps heat consistent…and gives good flavor!

Had this several months before my first smoke. Never used pellets before. Kept getting error codes so I gave up on the smoke and finished the brisket in the oven and unplugged this monstrosity. Hours later, noticed it was still hot. Opened the hopper and it sent flames 10 feet high. Luckily I have a brick house and it did not singe the wall. The auger motor didn't work and the pellets just stayed in there smoldering. Burned the inside of the hopper and glass. Pit Boss would not replace the unit and Best Buy would not refund for this lemon. PB sent a replacement motor and video (which did not match my model) and hopper glass and basically said, "Good luck." I have had to hire a Task Rabbit for two hours to do the work since nothing matches the actual layout of the smoker. Another $100 down. I would never buy another product from these guys.

Works better than expected. Have used pellet grills and smokers since 1991 and love how the food cooks and tastes. I bought this because I wanted to be able to make an entire BBQ dinner without having to use the kitchen oven. I did 4 racks of ribs, 3 lbs of chicken breasts, potatoes, and baked beans all in stages of cooking on this cooker and everything came out great. Love the large pellet hopper so don't have to fill in the middle of a cook and the temperature control seems very accurate so far. Would definitely recommend to anyone that likes to cook for a group.

Easy assembly and easy to use. This is my second smoker from pit boss and they never disappoint

Product came in on time. does have a dent in door which may affect function. Will work with Pit Boss on a fix.

Fantastic product. Works great and get a ton of use out of it. Would buy again and again. bestbuy delivery was great as well and they guys took extra time to make sure things were perfect before they left.

Best gift I have bought for my husband. He adores it and has used it many many times at least 50 times. It cooks evenly the glass front is a nice touch but does get dirty quickly. It is a little more maintenance to keep it clean but very much worth it. You can many different things at once. Often my husband cooks meat in the bottom, potatoes and other veggies in the middle then brownies or dump cake in the top all at once. An amazing product and ver versatile.

We received as a gift. The door was crooked and would not seal. It was used once but would not hold the temperature for obvious reasons. Pit Boss kept sending us parts that did not fix the problem. From what I can tell looking it up, it is a common problem that the door does not seal. Please verify while you can return possibly before it leaves the delivery truck.

They dropped it off, wasnt to hard of a build, ive done jerky, hamburgers and brats in this, everything has been more than deliciously devoured

This is the easiest smoker to use that I've owned. Everything turns out perfect ecery time!
