Box fit in my Civic Hatchback. Easy assembly. The initial burn-in instructions were not very clear - you have to hold the button down til the auger pulls the pellets into the chamber. Girlfriend loves how easy it is to start (takes maybe 10-15min to preheat to 350) and operate. The only two things I dislike would be the top grate and the door/handle. Top grate gets in the way - we typically remove this for more room to manage stuff when searing. If you compare the door handle and door on say a Traeger you will notice its placed down lower so you can lift from start to finish. On the Pit Boss the handle is placed higher so you often have to open from the side or your wrist will hit the hot metal. Overall would recommend this grill!

I’d give it ten stars if possible. Beautiful grill everything works as it should. The pit boss 850 is super versatile I can’t wait to try all the many way to cook on it

Pluses: For the money, you get many features for which you pay extra with other smoker grills. Assembly was straightforward, but having another person to help would've been much better. Price & warranty can't be beat. I've smoked sausages, ribs, and tri-tip with good results. I found a nice cover on AmazXX for cheap. Minuses: The burn-in failed because the augur wouldn't turn. Customer service was busy, but helpful & patient when I finally reached them. The problem was a wiring harness impinging on one of the fans. After moving the wires the burn-in worked fine. It runs hot. I want to grill at 180 or 200, but it won't STAY near those temperatures. Temperature is almost always (up to 50 degrees) higher & swings a lot. I'm using PitBoss Competition pellets.

The Igniter was bad on arrival. Luckily its a very easy piece to replace and I've had this bad boy working for hours. Great grill size, easy to clean, favorite smoker I've owned.

Purchased this for my Fiancée’s birthday in December and he is in love with it ! It’s the perfect size for us to cook enough for the entire family ! We love to host and he has the perfect amount of space for everything . Putting it together was not too bad either , easier than we expected ! He loves the app that he can keep an eye on it with and has had ZERO ISSUES OR COMPLAINTS !

Awesome product, love that it has an app as well! Has made us want to cook so much more. Doesn’t take up a huge space but has a good amount of space to cook. Heats up super quickly! 10/10 recommend

So far so good. The grill holds temp and I love how the food comes out. It definitely helps having an extra person to assemble.

Havent been on it for a couple of weeks but i love it. I cooked on i for 2days straight.. ribs,leg of lamb,chicken,steaks others.. best grilling ive ever done!!!

I was new to grilling and almost bought a smaller grill, but I’m so glad my family and the store team convinced me to get this Pit Boss! Setup took less than 30 minutes, first use was a breeze, and the results were tender, juicy, delicious meat. Cleanup and storage were just as easy. Hands down the best choice—10/10, highly recommend!

Easy to assemble and use, fits perfect for an apartment size patio. Heats evenly across cooking surface, burgers came out juicy and chicken breast cooked through without drying out (a miracle). Clean up is painless thanks to the grease bucket. Great value with solid materials.

Was wanting a smoker for some time and it was between Traeger and Pit Boss ... Pit Boss won out when Best Buy put it on sale for more than 25% off! And I'm happy with it so far. Easy setup and first chuck roast tasted great! Brisket is next. I wish it came with a cover, though, to keep the dust off.

I looked at dozens of smokers and found this one with all the features I was looking for at the time (broiler plate, smoke stack, 800+ inches, prime button, wifi) all for around $500. I’ve cooked ribs, steaks, pork butts and whole chickens on it so far. Plenty of smoke flavor. Some reviews of various smokers talk about temp swings, but they’re nothing abnormal. Even big ones can be normal and it evens out quick. You also got to think about fat/juices coming out of your food increasing the temp as it burns off. The only thing I could ask for is a removable pellet burn pot for easy cleaning, but I’ve navigated that just fine.

Wow it makes smoking so much easier. Can set it on my phone and go do other things. Did a brisket and a chicken so far and they were both excellent.
