Fun collection for a great price on BluRay. The first is by far the best, but this package can't be beat!

This 5 Blu ray pack of the Planet of the Apes series does not play on my Sony Blu ray player which is only 4 years old. Every other Blu ray I have or have re entry purchases, or even red boxed works fine. Took it back and got a very poor attitude from and obviously disgruntled employee. I left and went to another Best Buy. This clerk was very helpful and gladly exchanged it. However, same thing the disks stick right after the introduction and nothing happens. BTW, Bought The Force Awakens at the same time..it works fine. Not happy Best Buy.

The series is interesting and thrilling .The makeup is not to sophisticated but it was leading edge at that time

A mostly solid series, the worthy films of the bunch have truly stood the test of time. The HD Blu-ray quality make this a must-own set. The 2001 remake can be ignored, but these classics tie really well into the newly released Rise of the Planet of the Apes and I'm really looking forward to the forthcoming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

This bluray collection is a nice addition for anyone who enjoys the Planet of the Apes. I know that watching it with my family, they were amazed at how clear it looked. They commented on how it looked like a new movie instead of one from years ago. I'm sure you'll enjoy the transfer. For fans of this movie they know what they're getting acting and storyline wise. While the first is a classic, the others start to get a little convoluted as the story continues. Overall, a great set for any fan.

This was a Christmas present for my father. He has been a POTA fan since he was very little. He was ecstatic when he unwrapped this. We put it in the Blu-ray player later in the afternoon. I never got into POTA, but I was very impressed with the video quality. If you are a POTA fan, this is a must-purchase.

Bought this while it was on sale for 12.99. And I must say it was a fantastic value. The regular price makes this set a good deal as well. The films have never looked better. The extras are fantastic.

I picked this up when it was on sale for 12.99. At that price you can't go wrong with 5 classic films. Not all of them are good some better than others but it's just good fun cinema.

This is a wonderful collection! Yes, the movies are hokey and outdated, but they're simple fun with some very iconic moments.

I bought this set for $16 so it's perfect. A must have for anyone that loves the original films.

You can't get any better than the Charleston Heston original, but I do have a soft spot in my heart for Escape from the Planet of the Apes where the apes travel in time to the then modern 70's times. Sad ending, though :(
