To be honest, I wasn't expecting a whole lot when I bought these, but I was more than pleasantly surprised by what I got. The headphones are comfortable to wear, and I'm not hearing any distortions. I use them for work and can wear them for a lot of hours at a time, so comfort is an issue that I have had with other sets. Background reduction? I'll have to see when I start doing some recording, but so far the mic has been more than adequate for my needs.

Good little headset that works great for voice, sound is good enough for music while working but nothing for the audiophile here. I've bought two of these so far and they hold up over time quite well.

Very comfortable headset lightwieght blocks out background noise would buy it again

I needed a good Skype headset with iPhone cable adapter and this Plantronics fit the bill. It is lightweight and the mic seems to pick up my voice well for Skype and iPhone 6 calls.

The rig works fine. sound and voice are good. The unit is a little heavy. very tight and HOT. Of course that's to keep outside noise out but npt super comfortable

Good sound both for listening and recording. The price is reasonable for the quality. The connector seems to have a bit of an issue but manageable.

I was looking for a low-cost headset of decent sound quality that I could use with both my cell phone and computer. Pros: This unit definitely fits the bill. The headphone sound quality is surprisingly good, actually acceptable for casual music listening in addition to voice quality. And the mic is completely acceptable too. The headset comes with an adapter so that it can easily be used with either a 4-conductor jack on a cell phone or the two separate mic and sound a jacks on a computer. Cons: The quality of the wiring and connectors is marginal. This is probably not the best choice for kids, unless they're unusually gentle with how they treat this kind of equipment. But otherwise fine if you take some care. The overall fit of the headset and the ear pads are also pretty marginal. If you have a large head, it's probably best to look elsewhere. And the ear pads are definitely not comfortable enough for hours of continuous wearing. I replaced the ear pads with an extra, softer set that I happened to have laying around, and that helped quite a bit. All that said, you generally get what you pay for, and in this case I think it's actually a pretty good deal. I'm happy with the cost vs. quality and performance.

Really like how comfortable it is. The microphone and speakers work well too. Only thing I dislike about this is that it is the second pair of this exact brand that we have purchased in three years because the first ones just stopped working. I am hoping that it isn't going to happen this time around.

I had a problem with the first set I bought but the new one is working great. They are comfortable and have good sound.

I can't comment on the microphone as I haven't used it yet. The headphones themselves are good quality. They diminish external sounds somewhat but not so much that I can't hear if I need to. They seem durable enough. The microphone is somewhat adjustable but not very much so.

Comfortable headset when used for short periods of time. Good sound quality.

I wanted something that can be used with a laptop for gaming, and after reading through "Specicfications & Reviews" this seemed to be a great choice. However, our laptop needed an audio/microphone combo plug, so I decided Id need to order a combo port thing to make this work, because I didnt see one listed as part of this products package.......after spending money on a seperate purchase, I received my item & it indeed DID come with one. Great product all around.

This head set has good sound quality. It is also comfortable when wearing it. The main draw back for me is that it is analog and must be plugged into the back of my tower, replacing my speakers. So, if I want to listen to something without the head set on, I have to unplug it every time. If I were to do it again I would get another USB instead of analog mainly for convenience.

Can't beat it with the price. Sound wise, it is pretty good. Of course, you can't compare this to Bose or something along those lines, but I use this primarily for conference calls and it is great. I do use it to listen to some music a bit on some downtime and I'm surprised with how the lows hit and its not bad at all. If you need something on the less expensive side just to listen to some music while browsing the internet, this can do the job.

The sound quality is fine for voice, the microphone is good at picking up my voice but it does not seem to isolate at all in noisy space. The earphone pieces are comfortable but do not cover the entire ear. After 45 minutes of wearing them the bar across the top seems to be pretty hard but that may be an adjustment issue on my part. The cord is more than long enough.

I bought these to replace an old headset. The first time I used them I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality coming through the headset. I like how the volume is adjustable on the cord. Works well with my computer and cell phone.

I've used it with both an iPhone and with a computer. Plug and play. No software needed. Sound quality of speakers and microphone are adequate. While the headset is more comfortable than ear buds, it takes up a lot of space on my desk when not wearing them. No where near as good or durable as a Plantronics headset that I had for over 15 years.

These were not bad for the cost, the sound quality is pretty good and they are comfortable.

This is one of the best sounding headsets I have ever seen for the price. Great sound quality, comparable to headsets costing over twice as much. Made really well, padded, lightweight and appears to be made to last a while.

I work from home, over the Internet, and spend a good deal of time in conference calls. I bought this headset because with my previous headsets, other people were having trouble hearing me, or were hearing echoes when I wasn't muted, etc. From the moment I plugged this one in, all those problems stopped, and I could hear the other callers much better. The noise cancellation is very good, too - people no longer hear the washer and dryer that are 10 feet from my desk, but have no problem hearing me. The headset is a bit tight on the head, which takes some getting used to, but the sound is well worth that inconvenience - I never realized that 'hold' music actually had some fidelity to the sound before; now I find myself actually enjoying it, well, at least a little, sometimes.
