Features include sweat resistance, easy connectivity and phone integration. In review : Pros : Lightweight – Plantronics claims the Backbeat Fit 305’s are one of the lightest on the market. They are correct, a lot of sound for such a low weight design. Fit – this what I liked best about the headset. The in ear design sits nicely and seals off the ear canal . This blocks outside sound and lets you hear the richness of the sound. Sound – the Backbeat FIT 305 has good clarity, bass and treble. Volume was decently high when playing music but , for some reason, a bit muted on when using Siri. Construction – as with most Plantronics devices, it is built well and thought out. The cable is covered with a cloth material so it does not stick to you if you sweat. Cons Inline remote - I found the inline remote a little awkward to use with the long and short presses of the buttons to access the different functions – skip songs, voice ( I.e Siri,) skip songs etc.. I also found the positioning of the remote on one side a bit awkward, it tends to make feel a bit unbalanced. The negatives about the remote are minor, there are not too many alternative design options ; particular a this price point and weight. Overall , I like the Backbeat FIT 305. In thinking about Plantronics in general, they just make great products. Every device I have ever tried from Plantronics does what it should and is made well. I recommend this headset and give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Please note that in order to pair the headset to a new device, simply make sure the headset is powered off, then press and hold down the center button for at lest 8-10 seconds until you hear "pairing" and the LED starts flashing red and blue. Access your phone Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_BBFIT 300". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LED will stop flashing red and blue.
