||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Functionality of these headphones are grapes. The only issue is after about six to eight months my earbuds began to short out oh, I imagine it was because of repeated use. Has now switched over to the BackBeat fit which are more rugged

Posted .Hello and thank you for your honest review on our Backbeat FIT 305 headset, however, we are sorry to hear about your experience. If you are having some issues with the audio of the headset, you may want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection with your mobile to see if there is any improvement. To do so: 1) Unpair the headset from your mobile phone by accessing your Bluetooth settings. 2) Power off your mobile phone for 2 minutes and turn it back on. 3) Re-pair the headset. With the headset powered off, press and hold down the center button until the headset starts flashing red and blue. 4) Access to your Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_BBFIT 300". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LED on your headset will stop flashing red and blue. You may also want to test the headset connected to a different mobile to completely isolate the issue. If for some reason you still have the same issue, then it means the headset has an actual problem and it will be best to replace it. Remember this unit counts with a limited warranty since the first day of purchase, and if you need a replacement you can click on the following link for further instructions: https://bit.ly/2N637EC. Our intention is to provide the highest quality products to our customers and we thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Not for Small Ears and Bass Lovers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design drew me to this product; I loved it and was hopeful. My ears are smaller than average and I was excited about these headphones. They were easy to pair. I liked the clip in the back to minimize movement. The ear pieces were too large; I tried the smallest ear plug and it fell out during a light jog. When it did fit my inner ears were sore and the headphones became uncomfortable. The headphones had more treble than bass. It was not a balanced sound in my opinion. I returned these and went with another style and brand. These may be great for larger or even average ears and for someone not bothered with bass and treble ratio.

Posted .Hi! Thank you for your honest review on our Backbeat FIT 305 headset. However, we are sorry to hear you were not able to find a comfortable and secure fit even after trying all of the included ear tip sizes. These headsets are designed to fit the vast majority of ear shapes and sizes; however, we do know that one size may not fit all and if you find the product too uncomfortable for normal use we strongly recommend that you consider using a headset with a different wearing style. Very Good Design. Ultralight. Outstanding Battery!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned many wireless earphones. Ranging from generic brands on Amazon to more prominent names like Bose, Sony and LG. The FIT 305 is the first Plantronics product I have ever used and it certainly won't be the last. ***DESIGN*** First off these earphones are very lightweight. I have owned some lightweight earphones but these may be the lightest ones I have ever put on. The braided cable with reflective white stripe is a most welcome addition! There are times when I am cycling outside and the earphones will fall off. The blue color and reflective striping make it a lot easier to spot. Braided cable provides better wear and tear going forward. Earbud quality is good and comfortable. During my outdoor usage the earphones have fit securely without shifting too much so far via the included earbud loops and wire clip; a big plus! Inline button controls are easy enough to use with the +/- and square button which allows for volume, track and voice assistance control. Microphone built in for phone calls which I found to very clear. ***SOUND & PERFORMANCE*** The audio quality is terrific and much better than I could have hope. Rich mid range and highs with little to no distortion that I can tell. Nice bass for a wireless earphone system but it could be better. Bluetooth connection is very solid and worked from more than 25 feet away. Battery life is a reported 6 hours but I have used it for more than that so far before having to recharge. ***CONCLUSION*** The Plantronics Backbeat FIT 305 is a welcome addition to a market becoming saturated with wireless headset offerings with each passing day. Incredibly lightweight, quality sound, terrific battery life combined with a solid price point make this a no brainer recommendation!

Excellent Workout Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Plantronics Backbeat FIT 305 were a very pleasant surprise. I've had a pair of Plantronics before and wasn't impressed. However, these were quite stylishly designed and had an excellent build quality. The fit of these earbuds felt as natural as something sticking in your ear can feel, but they always felt secure no matter what I did to try and jar them loose. If the buds aren't fitting perfect, they come with three sizing options included. Sound quality was far above what I was expecting for a set of wireless earbuds under $100. Obviously not quite as nice as if you'd spent $400 on an over the ear set, but still impressive. It provides great sound to get your workout routine started and enough juice to help you end it. Mid-levels and high notes are a little more prominent than bass, but that is to be expected with an earbud. Even then, it was more than enough to block out traffic and crowds. They are rated at 6 hours, but I was able to get more out of them. This will vary depending on your use but 6 hours should be easily done. Once you've drained them, they recharge in a modest two hours. In conclusion, The Plantronics Backbeat FIT 305s are an excellent bargain for someone who wants a little more security in fit than a standalone earbud without wire. I would highly recommend these. Pros: -Price -Build Quality -Style Cons: -Little lacking in base, but not at all detrimental to the experience

BACKBEAT FIT FULFILLS THE PROMISE
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a relief! I just went through 20 miles of bad road trying to find earbuds that stay put and deliver great audio. These buds are so much better than others I have tried and returned. Competitors so far in my book have so many good features; but, top priority for earbuds is that they stay in place. I have been severely irritated when earbuds easily fall out. Even when I have tried all the different sized fittings, the earbud design in other brands would be an unstable fit; so, I would constantly have to make adjustments. Pairing is super easy and their little prompting guide fits easily into their little carry case. And, you'll need the guide to remind you of all the adjustments to your phone and media listening you can do. Another upgrade that I haven’t seen before is their Deep Sleep Mode. If you haven’t used the buds in 120 minutes, the battery conserves energy so you don’t have to keep recharging. The cord has an interesting new fabric-like texture that’s moisture resistant and easy to clean. The feel is definitely more skin-friendly than rubber. But, no matter what brand you try; so, you don’t lose your investment, be super vigilante about attaching the cord clip to your shirt collar. The Fit’s clip is also a cord length adjuster. Then asap, check out their Plantronics App for access to features like your battery level and headset status among other extras.

Plantronics’ Backbeat Line Gets Better
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’ve previously owned and/or listened to the original Plantronics Backbeat, or Backbeat GO, then you already have a good idea of what to expect…and you’d be (somewhat) wrong. For those unfamiliar with the Backbeat line, they are the stereo side of Plantronics, in contrast to their mono headsets designed primarily/specifically for talking on cell phones. Where the RIG headsets excel for gaming, and the Voyager line excels for talking on cell phones, the Backbeat line is for music & “entertainment”. Having previously owned the original Backbeat, and currently owning the Backbeat GO 2, I already had high hopes for the Backbeat FIT 305. While the standard Backbeat FIT had a hard, around-the-neck section connecting the right & left speakers, the Backbeat FIT 305 (and FIT 300) are closer to the Backbeat GO, not only in appearance, but also in sound quality…but they’re better than all the previously-mentioned products. Why? The in-line control is larger, and easier to grip/use; fit is improved; sound quality is improved; they are sweatproof (notice I’m not saying “waterproof”, but they are close enough for government work). In short, they have been improved in almost every possible way. It’s like they took the “sports” portions of the Backbeat FIT, and married them to the design & (somewhat) better sound quality of the Backbeat GO series – you get “the best of both worlds, rolled into one”, so-to-speak. Of course, there’s always a “down side”, and this one could be considered significant enough by some people to skip the Backbeat FIT 305, and stick with the Backbeat FIT. Even though the sound is (supposedly) improved over the Backbeat FIT (although I’ve never personally tried them), you might have a hard time keeping them in place. The primary purpose of the Backbeat FIT design is to keep them “attached” around your neck. Having assimilated the design of the Backbeat GO, the cord connecting left & right sides moves freely. Additionally…again, due to the similarities in design with the Backbeat GO…there’s nothing “holding” them in place like the Backbeat FIT. If you turn your head quickly from side-to-side, you could find one (or, possibly, both) earphones flying off your ears. FINAL VERDICT: Would I recommend the Plantronics Backbeat FIT 305? Honestly, this is a hard one to decide. On one hand, the sound is excellent, and control is easier than on previous FIT & GO models (due to its larger, and ‘grippier’ control). On the other hand, having been designated a “sport” model, but following the design of their GO line, they could be considered “problematic” for some, especially joggers/runners. If you’re looking to get them for more sports involving a lot of movement…especially movement on the harsher side, I’d probably suggest sticking with the standard Backbeat FIT. At the same time, if you’re looking for a Bluetooth headset to be used with sports involving less movement, as well as those looking for a really good “general-purpose” Bluetooth headset, then these would fit your requirements, and would work out (no pun intended) quite well. Think of them as a pretty decent cross between the Backbeat GO & Backbeat FIT. Disclaimer: This product was provided free, or at reduced cost, for the purpose of reviewing the product. Nevertheless, the above review, be it positive, negative, or anywhere in-between, is a 100% honest review, and the price paid played absolutely no part in my review.
