I've been using these straight through for the last 48 hours, and I'm impressed. I'm a fitness person, and I love a good set of earbuds. Sound - Great, not too much bass...and sound crisp. Battery - Still going strong after 2 days Comfort - fits snug in your ears, and seals off sound App Support is not really support though, just more like an about page. But at least there is one. Over all, I like them...and the braided cable on them is a bonus.

Decent Bluetooth Headphones for the Price

The Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones are a good choice if you want a basic but lightweight option for in ear bluetooth workout headphones. The sound quality didn't wow me compared to other models i've tried like the Beats Powerbeats and the Sony Wireless Models, but it was good enough for the price point. The only wires on the headset are a bungee, style cord that doesn't seem to bind up and seems like it will hold up well over time. I've had iphone cords made of the same material and they were some of the best types of cords that I had. The headphones themselves were super easy to pair with my iphone and i appreciated the soft case it came with but the overall packaging could have been a bit nicer. It comes with replaceable and different size ear buds as well. The one thing I did notice is how light the headphones were. Because of this I think they would be ideal for runners or someone who is looking for headphones that feel like they aren't even there. Overall I give them a 4 out of 5 because they don't compare soundwise to other competitors, but they make up for it in other areas.

These Plantronic inner-ear buds are user-friendly from most aspects. They synced and paired with my Samsung Note Edge easily. The design is simple and responsive. The sound from these is good with clear communications. Also, I don’t hear distortion or dead air which is always a plus. The only minus, I see is where the control is placed as it isn’t easily accessible when wearing them. I wish Pantronics would have designed it to be more flexible. If you’re looking for a good pair of inner ear buds that have interchangeable buds to accommodate your inner ear canal, these buds may work for you!

I really like the Backbeat FIT 305, especially for the price. When I wear them to exercise (walking, riding a bike or lifting weights) they feel very light and low-profile. The ear fit is exceptional, especially if you are looking to block out the noise around you. The integrated loops ad the oval design of the ear tips really makes a difference and help seal off your ear canal. The sound is great for it's price range. I use these to work out and either listen to music or watch tv. I use a loud chain driven Schwinn Airdynne with a fan and I had no problem listening to music and the tv. My volume was about the as other head phones, may a level or two down a little since the seal was so good for canceling out the noise. I felt the earbuds offered good bass and a decent amount of clarity. I found battery life good. I could get a typical workout worth and have plenty of battery left. What I really like is the cloth cable. They feel more secure and the headphones are not tangling as much. The extra weight/girth to me helps the headphones stay in place better as I work out. The only con I have is the chunky inline remote. With the ear buds being so light and small, they do need a place for a battery and charging port along with controls. Maybe if it was centered it would be balanced better instead of having one side feel heavier than the other. When I adjusted the length of the cord and connected it to the back of my shirt, those adjustments seemed to reduce movement of the inline remote as I was exercising. I had no issues connecting the headphones to an iphone, android or my TV. If you are looking for a sub $100 sweat resistant earbuds with great noise canceling this is an earbud for you.

The Plantronics Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones are comfortable and come with a selection of three different-sized earpieces. They are easy to pair with your smartphone or tablet and work both as stereo headphones and a phone mic. They charge quickly using the provided charging cord with any USB charger port. You can charge them on your computer or using your phone or tablet wall or auto charger. These Plantronics headphones have a full and deep sound, and, while not classified as sound-canceling headphones, their in-ear silicone design blocks out a lot of background noise. The headphones are attractive and are tethered together by a cord that you can clip to your shirt, allowing you to walk or run without fear of losing the headphones. They are rugged and sweatproof, while remaining lightweight and attractive. My only concern is that the tether line conducts sound when you move, making what sounds like wind noise when you do not have music playing.

Plantronics BackBeat FIT 305 - $79.99. OK, so they’re not pretty. In fact, I’m surprised Plantronics didn’t ship them with a bit of dirt in the package to illustrate that they are rough and ruggedly built. The controls are a bit bigger than typical, but they are really easy to adjust on the move. I’m a real fan of the “winged”, insert & twist earpieces which are a VERY reliable way to keep earbuds in place under the most extreme activities. The wire connecting the earbuds is somewhat heavier and textured and has a clip to secure it to a shirt collar. These headphones will not be easy to shake off. BT pairing was simple and fast. The resulting connection held up well, with no fussing required. Oh . . and the sound . . . was great. These are a bit brighter than has become the norm, recently. The bass is strong and natural, and there is actual treble. Bass freaks m-i-g-h-t want to use their phone equalizer but I prefer this natural presentation. Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right” opens with thundering bass like it’s supposed to. I found the detail in the music quite surprising at this price, and voices were perfectly clear, and maybe a bit forward. There are several earpieces in the package, so be sure to use the size that fits you the best . . . snug fit is how you get the most bass. It’s easy to recommended these for the active person who wants good sound on the go. I’m in no rush to take these off.

I had hoped for more from these headphones, especially since the salesperson pushed them SO HARD over the skullcandy ones I originally wanted. Every time I use the phone or microphone feature, all I hear is the noise around me, amplified into the ear buds! Not at low levels either. I fear that is all the person on the other end of the call can hear as well! Poor quality sound!

The Plantronics BackBeat FIT 305 earbuds are straightforward, easy to use, and work great. They are light-weight sports earbuds, perfect for any kind of workout, with the obvious exception of swimming, as they are sweatproof. They fit great in my ears, and stayed in even during the most rigorous of workouts. They do feature a microphone, so you can take calls without interrupting your workouts. They only have a 6-hour battery life, which is a typical battery life for these type of earbuds. What's great about their battery life though, is that they can hold a charge for up to 6 months. This is great for those who only workout occasionally, but want to keep a gym bag packed; these will always be ready for use. The feature that set the Plantronics BackBeat FIT 305s apart from other earbuds is their storage case. It is designed to help dry them quickly, helping to prevent odors in your gym bag.

Thank you for taking the time to review the BackBeat FIT 300, however we are sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble with your earbuds.

To fix your stability problems, try experimenting with the 3 different eartip sizes that are included in the box. Your left or right ear might require different sizes to get the right fit. The sound quality will improve with a better fit.

Freedom from annoying wires, that is. Even if these headphones didn't sound good, it would be a welcomed change from having to hold my phone in hand while working out. But, they do sound good. Really good. Setup was a breeze--just like any other Bluetooth device you just have to pair them. After getting them paired, I found these headphones are great for blocking out sound. That's not, however, a good formula for using them while running on the road. If I'm going to get run over, I want to hear it coming. However, for working out, I'm very impressed with the sound quality, as well as the build quality. The wire connecting the two sides is a nylon braided affair--not just a coated wire. This should help these headphones last. The sound is very balanced with just the right amount of bass for my liking--not overpowering, but you still know it's there. I can fully recommend the Plantronics Backbeat FIT 305s. Great quality, good sound, and at a very competive price.

I bought these earphones back in June 2018, and just within 4 months, its volume adjusting and on/off holder is broken and one of the earphone out of the two does not get any sound. I am a kind of person who handles the electronic device very carefully, but still it seems these earplugs are not durable enough.

Having used the prior model of the BackBeat Fit, these are a noticeable improvement Sound is improved and connectivity is more stable What I do miss is the rubber strap that went behind the neck. While these are wireless, they still have a cord connecting one earpiece to the other using a traditional cord. The rubber strap was much better, except it did bounce while running In this day of truly wireless headphones (no cord at all), these tend to be in a well established pack If you want truly wireless, look elsewhere. If you want solid and stable bluetooth headphones, then these can be for you

The Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Blue/dark blue is a real winner in the lightweight fitness in-ear headphone market! From comfort, to fit, to weight, the Backbeat FIT scores big. One of the most impressive features is the noise-canceling components. Highly effective for quality sound and drowning out the ambient noise around you. Perfect for those who prefer to exercise solo or without the distractions found around the gym. PROS - Lightweight - Well Designed and constructed - Solid Bluetooth connectivity - Sound Quality is excellent - Noice-Canceling CONS - Due to the lightweight design, they may have the potential to damage the wire if just thrown in a gym bag and tangled with other items. Great product!

I got these because I wanted a pair of headphones I could use for the gym and not worry about losing or breaking my 150$ pair of headphones. These sounds good for the price, the sound quality is good for listening to music at the gym. Blocks out noise from the outside. The cable is nice that it is braided and seems pretty rugged. I do like the little clip it has for attaching to your shirt every useful. I would recommend these for the gym since that’s all I use them for.
