Thank you for your honest review on our BackBeat FIT 305. We're sorry to hear about your experience. In order to fix audio issues, you might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection. To do so: 1. Delete the headset from your cell phone’s list of paired devices. 2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone. 3. Re-pair the headset with your phone. Testing your headset with different phones and also at different locations and while connected to a single device at a given time is ideal in order to isolate the cause of the problem. If you get the same results after following the previous instructions there might be a problem with your unit and it is best to replace it. Please note this unit has a one-year limited warranty from date of purchase. Feel free to contact our Customer Care Team at: 800-985-9815 if you have any questions! plantronics

    Outstanding wireless earbuds!

Let me start off by saying this is my third set of these style earbuds. Most have performed well, some have sounded quite good, but none have been the best overall...except these! The sound and volume levels are great on these. The details in music and crispness of audio for books and podcasts is amazing for this price range. The overall construction seems very solid and well made. Battery life is very good as well. Probably the best I've had in a set of earbuds. The cable clip may sound gimmicky but it really performs well and prevents tugging from one side if placed correctly. These are, to me. the perfect earbuds for athletes, runners, etc. But they would also be great for anyone that wants a comfortable set of wireless earbuds with fantastic sound. I highly recommend them!

I’m by no means a head banger but I do like to hear my music when wearing ear buds. The maximum volume on these things is what you might expect for 15$ buds. Not 70$. Plus the left side totally went dark after a couple of weeks. Waste of money. Don’t do it.

Thank you for your honest review on our BackBeat FIT 305, we are sorry to hear you experienced trouble with your unit.

You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the audio issues you experienced. To do so:

      1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
      2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
      3. Re-pair the headset with your phone.

If this does not fix your issue, we suggest pairing the headset to another cell phone as a test. If the issue is not present on the second phone, then the problem may be with the first phone, rather than the headset. If the issue exists on the second phone as well, you will need to replace the headset.

Well, this was a really cheap experience but it works for the price it does. I'm going, to be honest, The headphones for me was uncomfortable holding in the ear. While they are super lightweight and sweatproof it falls flat for me with comfort. Outside of that, the sound isn't anything to write about. It lacks bass, mids, and lows are less than average and my headphones disconnect more so than often, which was about 2-3 times since I had it. Battery life does last about 5-6 hours which is great and the range does go far before it disconnected. Standby is impressive which I did leave off the charge all week and it still kept the same first charge. Call quality is great and people on the other end can hear me clearly. I mentioned before that the headphones are sweatproof giving it an IPX5 rating and used them in the shower for testing; they survived just fine. The design is ok for what it is and it doesn't get in the way of your sports activity or workout but its certainly not the shining star. Backbeat FIT 305 is easy to connect to your phone or BT device and they give you quite a bit of accessories like a carrying pouch and more ear tips (which still didn't help for me with comfort.) All in all I don't care for them that much and I certainly wouldn't use these as "main" headphones. For sports or workouts, they are fine but anything else I can't recommend this product. 2.5 stars if I could truly rate them.

They actually even have a microphone on them. The headphones themselves are smart enough to allow in background noise if you're talking on the phone (for a more natural experience) and provide good sound quality and fit. They come with 2 additional sizes (smaller, larger) to adapt to most anyone's needs. They charge quickly via USB Micro. USB-C charging would've been nice as then newer phones could be used to charge the headphones themselves which would be cool.

A Solid Pair of Wireless Headphones

These headphones are good quality and most importantly they work just as expected. They were easy to charge, connect and find the right fit for my ears. Also, I like that there aren't a lot of bells and whistles that can often detract from performance and battery life. The sound quality is good but not amazing, but exactly what I expected from headphones in this price range. Also, because the headphones are sweat proof you don't have to worry about them shorting out from your workouts or even from running in the rain (I've had this happen). Overall, I have no negatives to say about these headphones and would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid pair of wireless headphones.

    great workout earbuds

The main thing I was looking for in this pair of earbuds was the ability to turn my head while working out without the connecting cord dragging around to one side and pulling on one of the earbuds. Thanks to the design of this pair, that's not an issue. The nylon-braided cord is sufficiently stiff/slick that it doesn't catch on sweaty skin or workout clothes. The other hidden advantage of this model is the small size of the earbuds, keeping them from sticking out and getting knocked loose when wiping sweat nearby. The downside is that bulk is transferred to the controller, but there's no sense that the larger controller gets in the way or weighs down one side. The sound is really good, with plenty of bass, and I had no issues whatever with connectivity, even when paired with a TV across the room.

i got these for my son who wanted to listen to music during warmups before his basketball games. These worked perfectly. he can run, jump, sweat and these earbuds stay right in place. He even tried leaving his phone on the bench and was able to still get a Bluetooth connection until he was about 30 to 40 feet away from the phone. I have used them occasionally while walking the dog and the sound is perfect on these. they don't completely block out outside noise but thats good for me as I need to hear if cars or people are close. i am going to get a pair for me to and will never use wired earbuds again.

These in-ear headphones have a pretty good sound. They pair easily over Bluetooth connection. Would have been nice if they had NFC pairing. The braided cable is high quality, but it tends to be noisy when the cable rubs up against my collar or neck, which I can hear through the earbuds. I would have preferred a cable made of some type of rubber material which would make less noise.

I'd like to say first off the Backbeat FIT 305 fits my ears like a charm, which has always been my dilemma, they wrap ear and stay right there. And the sound quality was surprisingly well. I would have enjoyed better placement.of controls gut at the gym put on a playlist and let it play so that's not a problem These are a good investment for anyone with an active workout regimen,

This is by far some the best workout headphones that I have had. Well constructed, some of the best battery life from a wireless set I have seen. Waterproof and the fit is secure in the ear. They have easy to use on-ear controls, have a reflective finish and come with a free companion app.

These headphones are nice units, but have a drawback that makes them difficult to use for the intended purpose. Playback and incoming call sound is fine - not spectacular on music, but certainly more than adequate for exercising or walking through a loud environment like an airport. Sound through the microphone was generally good, with some listeners saying I was very clear, but on the other end callers asking if I could switch sets. This is not uncommon with Bluetooth, so I didn't ding the headset for this. Battery life is great, but it would be useful if the start-up voice said more than "battery high," or medium, or low. That doesn't really tell me if I need to charge it before my marathon call tomorrow, the way a percentage or time reminder would. The earpieces fit snugly and do a good job of blocking external noise -good enough that I wouldn't use them while outdoors, particularly in high traffic areas. The fabric covered cord is lightweight and feels strong, like it's designed to last for years. But the fabric also introduced the issue that makes it hard to use while exercising. Even with the clip attached to my clothing, the cord rubbed on my clothing when I moved, making a loud noise through the earpieces. Overall, a very nice set of headphones for the price.

These are great for working out. They sound very good and once you find the correct tip size they will stay in your ears. I really like that the whole cable between the buds is braided also.

Hi! Thank you for your review on our Backbeat FIT 305 headset, however, we are sorry to hear about your experience. If you are experiencing some audio issues with the headset, you may want to reset the Bluetooth connection with your mobile. To do so: 1) Unpair the headset from your mobile phone by accessing your Bluetooth settings. 2) Power off your mobile phone for 2 minutes and turn it back on. 3) Re-pair the headset. With the headset powered off, click and hold downt the center button until you see the LED flashing red and blue. 4) Access to your Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_BBFIT 300". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LED on your headset will stop flashing red and blue. We also recommend testing the headset with a different mobile to completely isolate the issue. If for some reason you still encounter the same issue, then it means it has an actual problem and it is best to replace it. Remember this unit counts with a limited warranty since the first day of purchase, and if you need a replacement you can click on the following link for further instructions: https://bit.ly/2N637EC. Our intention is to provide the highest quality products to our customers and we thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I am very impressed with the Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones. They work very well and are surprisingly comfortable to wear. I am liking the Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones. I use them when I work out and they are really comfy and can be worn for long periods of time and still be comfy! The voice quality is good too when I use it with my phone and it syncs easily too. The battery life is about 6 hours and charges fairly quickly too. Standby time when I don't use them for a few days is acceptable but would like it to be a little longer - no biggie because of quick charge time.

I've had a few different Bluetooth earbuds. I have used very inexpensive ones and some fairly expensive ones. I've used Plantronics headsets at work for years and they are very good quality. I must admit these earbuds are some of the most comfortable I've used. The flexible oval conforms to fit your ear very well. It seems to hold it in place quite well too. At first I did notice the cord noise at very low volume levels, but after a while I didn't notice it anymore. I'll admit that I am not an audiophile, but they don't sound bad to me. I would say the sound isn't as good as some of the high end earbuds, but the comfort in my opinion was better. If you like in ear earbuds, but can't find any that are comfortable for you, I would recommend giving these a try.
