Customers often highlight the impressive sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life of the BackBeat FIT Wireless Behind-the-Neck Headphones. Many appreciate the wireless convenience and water resistance, finding them lightweight and easy to wear for extended periods. However, some users mention that the volume could be higher and that the bass response might not satisfy those seeking deep, powerful low-end frequencies. A few also comment on the price point.

Worth every penny!! These headphones feel incredibly comfortable! The battery life is insanely long, and they never fall out!! I am a live body painter and I needed these for work...a painting can take hours, these help me work more efficiently. The Bluetooth connection is superb and long range, and there's a voice that notifies you your battery life. Easy to understand functions for me That's Not computer savvy. Comes with usb cord and an awesome carry case that flips into a wrist band! I love my back beats!!!

After numerous issues with Motorola S9, S9-HD and S10-HD's... I finally gave up on the brand. Where the Motorola claimed to be "sweatproof", the Plantronics - BackBeat FIT come through. I have had zero issues with the BackBeats to date. They are comfortable to wear, don't bounce around or come loose during exercise and they sound great. I wish they were offered in other colors as I'm not terribly fond of the blue or green, but their design and sound make up for it and I can't take away a rating star for that.

I usually do my research when it comes to buying good quality electronics, however this time I went into the Best Buy Store to see what they had to offer. I was looking for headphones that were bluetooth that would ring around my ear so that it wouldn't fall out of my ear when I am jogging. I also was looking to be able to take calls on my phone with the headset as well as listening to music on the go. It was magic when I found these little dream come true headphones. First of all they are super light weight and VERY VERY comfortable. I was so pleasntly surprised at the magnificent product that I had found. The bluetooth paring was so easy to do, and the headset offers all controls to accept calls, hang up, adjust the volume and change the tracks (both forward and back tracking.) I currently use this when I pair my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, iPod Nano 7, Macbook Pro , iPad Mini, Samsung Tab 4, and my Samsung Gear 2 Neo Watch. This works with all devices as I have tried it out with a bunch of others. I chose the yellow because yellow and green is my favorite color and it makes me feel energetic (laugh all you want, but thats my personal preference :) ) They also have the blue which is also a gorgeous color and i sat in the store debating for awhile which color to choose. The headphones are crystal clear and user friendly. They stay in your ear the whole time and will never fall out! This is the best headphones I have ever bought in my life and i was so impressed!! DEFIANTLY RECOMMEND! The battery life is great as well!!!!!

Good and I know how to make them BETTER!

I like this pair for many reasons. That said, there is an easy fix for those who want to make them louder!!! I have some Earhoox that I bought for my iPhone earphones. By luck, they fit these Earpods perfectly. They were invented to keep your earphones from slipping out. What I found is they actually bring the earphones deeper into your ear and thus making the volume much better!!! The website I used to find these is http://earhoox.com/?utm_source=affiliate&utm_medium=sas I would HIGHLY recommend looking into it, since I was almost ready to return this pair due to needing more volume. Another thing to consider, is your music source. If you are relying on iTunes, the volume output is weak. If you are streaming your music on Spotify, you'll have a Louder output and better BASS and clarity overall. Plus on Spotify, you can easily tweak the built in Equalizer to get all the Bass or Treble (and everything in between) you like. *With the Earhoox installed, it's just enough volume to keep me happy. Without.. well... not so much. I like that they are light and flexible. Quick charge. Was worried about the look at first, since I prefer and all Black (less is more) look, but I have to say, the Black and Blue look really good on.

Style, comfort, battery life, and fit are great. The question to ask yourself before purchasing these is how much importance do you put on audio quality versus situational awareness. These do sound really good and are undoubtably acceptable, but due to the nature of non-in-ear headphones there is a sacrifice on sound quality. When you put a little pressure on these, thus pushing them further into your ear, you can hear the improvement in bass and dynamic range, but when you release is when you will realize the sacrifice made in order to allow sounds around you to come in. I often find myself bumping up against the max volume tone when I'm in a place with other noises around me, but do not necessarily need to hear those outside sounds. If you want to block out the world with these headphones, look else where, but if you want to have awareness of sounds around you or be able to comfortably have a conversation with someone while these sit in your ears then they are the probably the best option for sport bluetooth headphones. Also, the included armband with mine fits an iPhone 6 with a thin-ish case and was very useful, thus saving me from having to purchase one separately.

    Best bluetooth headphones I've owned!

These are by far some of the best bluetooth headphones I've owned and I've owned quite a few from the LG Tone Pro, the Plantronics Backbeat 805, and the Motorola Rokr S305 to name a few. These headphones top them all! Comfort: They're light, come with a few different size ear pieces which allow for the removal of the ear loops if you prefer. They're flexible and do not impede your laying on a bench nor do they come out of place. They don't move around a lot and pretty much feel like you're not even wearing anything at all. Durability: They are completely flexible and can be tossed around, twisted or scrunched up and put in your pocket and they just spring back to form once released/removed. They're waterproof so no amount of sweat, or rain are going to damage them. They come with an included carrying pouch (which also doubles as an arm band and can hold phones up to the size of an iphone 5S, but sadly does nothing for my Galaxy Note 4) Features: These are by far the simplest headphones to use. There is a charging port which uses a microUSB connector which is pretty standard. There are 4 buttons two on the left ear two on the right. Press and hold the right ear function button (the smaller one) to turn the headset on and off. When turned on, answer/end by tapping, or reject a call by holding the primary right ear button if held while receiving a call. You can also press the left ear primary (play/pause) button while on a call to mute and unmute. When not on a call, the left ear primary button plays and pauses music, and when the smaller function button is pressed and held the volume increases steadily with an audible notification of reaching max volume, while tapping that button decreases the volume in small increments. Tapping the right function/power button while the headset is on will also give an audible battery level notification indicating low/medium/high battery levels. Battery Life: In terms of battery life I can wear these for about 8 hrs of straight music play. After using these all week during my gym workouts I usually end up having to charge them by the weeks end. The Plantronics backbeat 805 put up slightly better numbers but at the expense of weight and comfort, and considering the unobtrusive nature of the Backbeat Fit their battery life is excellent.

Lets see I tried: Monsters BT Buds; Beats PowerBeats2; and Jaybirds. Only one that came close were the Beats, but when I ran outside (btw I'm training for half marathon) when it got warmer out they always fell out. Maybe too heavy or fittings were compliant w/ my ear design (LOL) - even after month of struggling w/ them I had to return them. The other two never stayed in my ears. Now these Plantronics are the best!! They stay in my ears (even on my hottest of runs), BT very reliable, and sound is very good ( i would argue better then any of the others). I get sound and fit is personal thing - but like me I ignored this brand for no tangible reason. The price and how well these work versus much more advertised and "image" centric brands - these should be your first stop. Sound great, BT stable, and don't FALL out! Been using them for 30days 6 days a week. No issues!! Great find! Hints: I have iphone 5s then 6 and kept in them in my flip belt or my pocket - I felt keeping BT device on my RIGHT side stabilized BT interference (better then other brands too). If you need on left and hear interference try moving to the right. Might be specific to where the BT is in the headphones (not sure). Also - battery life is very good. Works as advertised 6-8hrs before additional charge. When you turn them on it tells you battery life. Also, works w/out any issues w/ my apple watch (which also uses BT). Only negative is that need to be careful not to over turn the swivel ear piece. It may pop off. Don't worry snaps back in. Swivel allows for better fit adjusts 20-30 degrees (I think).

Ordered online as we're not carried in store. Headset feels very solid and IS water/sweat proof which is one thing I like. It feels great on ears and no matter what I did, never popped out. Battery life was pretty solid as well, last about a week and moderate use which is good. The only real issue I could find was the over all volume wasn't crazy loud. Because of over all design it isolated background noise to begin with but the drivers weren't too loud themselves. It did a decent job to the extent that I couldn't hear others but that's it.

For anyone looking for workout headphones these are a must. Yes, it stinks that most stores do not carry these at their location...but completely worth the shipping wait. You can have shipped to store for nothing additional. I love these headphones! I did a lot of research and even tried the Beats which I ended up returning because I felt the quality of sound wasnt enought to justify $200. These headphones are incredibly light, sound great, comfortable, and have a long battery life. These easily pair with your phone, for iPhone users you can see the battery life on your screen for the headphones, but they also have the ability to check the status by holding down the call button. I highly recommend these bluetooth headphones for anyone looking. I also have worn these around the house to test out extended use and was highly satisfied by the continued comfort and reliability of sound.

    PERFORMED AS EXPECTED!

I bought my BackBeat FIT after extensive research online (I was up until 3 a.m.). I was torn between these and the LG Tone Ultra, LG Tone Infinitim, and the SOL Shadow. In the end, the over-the-ear design and water repellency (plus the neat chartreuse color) helped me make my choice. I am very pleased with the headphones. They do everything I wanted them to do, which is simply to connect wirelessly with my iPod Nano, so I can listen to music when I take my daily two-mile walk, unencumbered by wires. The sound quality is what I would expect from an open design, which is fine, because it's that design that prevents me from being hit by a car. The buttons work pretty easily, once you have gotten used to them, but I wouldn't mind just a teensie, weensie, bit more volume. But, considering the low price, I can't complain. I hesitated to rate them 5 stars, but ONLY because of Plantronics' poor website support and tiny instruction booklet (I guess they're copying Apple). SUMMARY: If you're looking for an inexpensive, comfortable, water repellent, wireless headset to use for walking or jogging, these are perfect. Although I haven't tried them at my gym yet, I'm guessing they'll be okay there, too.

Needed a new pair of headphones for the gym, my requirements: cordless, "loud enough", stay in place - able to use on row machine and bench, sweat resistant, comfortable, and under $100. Actually, the Plantronics BackBeats met all of these requirements! Rereading, the requirements are not ordered - I sweat ALOT! Easy to insert over/in the ear, easy to pull out - One HUGE perk to note - the behind the neck band is flexible! The whole setup is so comfortable to wear; you can move around, lay back on a bench, the neck band does not get in the way, the earbuds don't pop out. Yet, I can pull them out, drape around my neck when needed. Bluetooth sound is good, have had ZERO problems establishing or losing connection to my phone. Because these are cordless, you need to have a routine to ensure they are charging between workouts. Micro-usb connection, you should have a couple of cords laying around. ;) Gym really blocks all cell reception, so have never used them to answer a call. Others I have tried: multiple polk audio headphones, the hanging on the ear set sound great (really great), but are quite painful for my big ears. The Polk ear buds sound decent but will not stay put - even on a treadmill. I purchased a pair of yurbuds from BB - were so painful I I returned them after one workout! So painful! Several pair of Sennheisers, the behind the neck were bothersome. The earbuds were decent, but the cord was so long I think I could skip rope with them. Yea, I sound picky. I finally found a set of headphones that are comfy, sound decent and really - just don't get in the way.

I was in need of a good pair of earphones that I could use for workouts and when I go on my runs. Needed Bluetooth connectivy and light weight/comfortable. These Connect easily with my phone every time and have had no issues wearing while running. Don't even notice them. Sound is pretty good for what they are. Don't have to be extremely loud. Only Hong I didn't like was the pouch it came with. Not large enough to hold my iPhone 6S plus. It fits in the pouch but can zip it closed. Doesn't work for running. Holds its charge well. Also was able to price match with Amazon and it was half the cost at Best Buy which made it even better.

I've had several versions of these type of bluetooth headphones that I use for working out. Some have better quality of one of the main things (Sound, battery, range and comfort). This pair was far less than others that I considered and went with Plantronics because I've owned an older pair. I am so happy because they have surpassed my expectations in all 4 of what I consider to be the important areas of consideration. I would recommend these too anyone.

These headphones unlike any of the other one's in store. Don't have a weak wire or wire supporting sheeth. (That break point on every headphone pair or IPhone charger ever.) This one is a solid chunk of rubber from one side to the other. Battery life, fantastic, doesn't fall out of ear. Sound quality, due to the fact that this is not an earbud, it does not pound the bass out unless you push your finger on it to complete the seal, then it thuds. So they are great for running, since they also don't stick in your ear but if you want some bass these aren't the ones. AS A RUNNER, If you want one's that probably won't break, fall out of your ears while running, and won't add extra heat to your head, get these. Any actual runner knows in-ear earbuds increase your core temp a little....

I really enjoy the Plantronics Back Beat Fit BT headphones. They let in ambient noise, so I can hear cars and other things around me when I run. I don't live in a big city, so I don't face a lot of background noise. Some reviewers said that these headphones aren't loud enough - I would have to disagree, I only have them up about 1/3 of the way (and don't even have my phone volume all the way up). Pairs great with my iPhone, the neck band doesn't flop around, lightweight, sweat and rain proof. Can't say enough good things about them.

I had the Motorola HD-11 before this and I really like it, but then after about a year the headset broke in the rubber by the ear. So I was worried that I wouldn't find anything decent. I read & watched a lot of reviews on all kinds of products before I bought this one. I couldn't believe how much better this is over the HD-11. The sound, it's lighter, softer on the ears and fits better in the ear. Its great for workouts and the office. This Rocks and yes I did and still do recommend this to a friend. Get one!

Like I said above, the fit is great, especially for running or exercising. They definitely stay put. However, don't expect monstrous bass with these, as they are more of an "open ear" design.... They are made so you are not totally isolated, and can hear surrounding noise and traffic and/or hazards while exercising. Great for safety, but of course, without a tight seal, the low frequencies don't translate and some music will sound less powerful (things like hip-hop, or dance music etc... As for the signal, it was perfect, no dropouts at all. Great battery life too for a bluetooth device. These things are good for music, but even better for listening to podcasts or streamed talk radio and things like that. I like these headphones, and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

These headphones should've been my 1st choice. Originally,I purchased the jaybird wireless earbuds that were built for gym use, recommended by a sales associate but was unhappy with them. The sound quality was great, better than the wireless beats by dre earphones, but they would not stay in my ears with all my sweat. I found myself focusing on how I was going to keep them in my ears rather than focusing on my workout. I took them back & upgraded to the wireless beats by dre earphones. The beats were nice, lightweight, almost stayed in my ears throughout my whole workout but still could not stand up to my sweat & the other humid conditions the gym had to offer. I had them for 5 days before they went out on me & never came back on. I returned them and finally purchased The Plantronics BackBeat Fit headphones. Almost a month later & they are keeping up with me & my sweat...in the gym, sauna, steam room, pool and jacuzzi. I keep my head above the water when working out in the pool and the range is awsome. These headphones are affordable, straight to the point, have decent sound & for someone like myself who sweats alot...are a lifesaver. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who does cardio & sweats alot.
