    Best bluetooth headphones I've owned!

These are by far some of the best bluetooth headphones I've owned and I've owned quite a few from the LG Tone Pro, the Plantronics Backbeat 805, and the Motorola Rokr S305 to name a few. These headphones top them all! Comfort: They're light, come with a few different size ear pieces which allow for the removal of the ear loops if you prefer. They're flexible and do not impede your laying on a bench nor do they come out of place. They don't move around a lot and pretty much feel like you're not even wearing anything at all. Durability: They are completely flexible and can be tossed around, twisted or scrunched up and put in your pocket and they just spring back to form once released/removed. They're waterproof so no amount of sweat, or rain are going to damage them. They come with an included carrying pouch (which also doubles as an arm band and can hold phones up to the size of an iphone 5S, but sadly does nothing for my Galaxy Note 4) Features: These are by far the simplest headphones to use. There is a charging port which uses a microUSB connector which is pretty standard. There are 4 buttons two on the left ear two on the right. Press and hold the right ear function button (the smaller one) to turn the headset on and off. When turned on, answer/end by tapping, or reject a call by holding the primary right ear button if held while receiving a call. You can also press the left ear primary (play/pause) button while on a call to mute and unmute. When not on a call, the left ear primary button plays and pauses music, and when the smaller function button is pressed and held the volume increases steadily with an audible notification of reaching max volume, while tapping that button decreases the volume in small increments. Tapping the right function/power button while the headset is on will also give an audible battery level notification indicating low/medium/high battery levels. Battery Life: In terms of battery life I can wear these for about 8 hrs of straight music play. After using these all week during my gym workouts I usually end up having to charge them by the weeks end. The Plantronics backbeat 805 put up slightly better numbers but at the expense of weight and comfort, and considering the unobtrusive nature of the Backbeat Fit their battery life is excellent.

So far I've put these through 4 workouts indoors and outdoors. They are officially awesome! I was looking for a wireless solution with a comfortable feel and sound similar to my earpods. These are it! I've tried and returned a few other sets, and these are hands down winner. They boast a solid sound profile, all day comfort, and battery longevity. call clarity is great as well! I also like the on ear controls, which are much easier to find than the dangling cord controls on other models. They are also the only model I have seen with the ergonomically designed ear pieces. Once you have made your personal adjustments they fit great and stay right in place during workouts. I would consider myself average sized at 5'10", but the fit might not be great for giants or tiny individuals. I read some reviews about them letting in too much noise and not being loud enough. This argument holds no water in my opinion. Turn the volume up on your device! I've never had to turn the volume up to 100% on this set. They actually block a good deal of sound sitting muted in ear. My gym is constantly cluttered with loud terrible music and stupid conversations. These block all that garbage perfectly! I guess they might no be loud enough if you are walking through a construction site or standing next to a bus, but most earphones struggle in that environment. Overall 5 stars for me. Great product at a great price. My only complaint is you cannot lay down comfortably on your back with this set. I have to manipulate the band and earpieces a bit to find a fit, but they still feel awkward. This not a condemnable offense and only a minor inconvenience however.

THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ! SERIOUSLY

If you are like me you read reviews before you purchase. Well if you are thinking about these headphones I am about to make up your mind. I bought this product in March of 2015, it is now Nov of 2015 and they still work perfectly with just about everyday use. These things are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time and the design keeps anything from hanging on your neck! Pairing with your device is super simple and the buttons/controls are so easy to use a caveman could do it. LOL. They charge quickly and the battery life is very good. Now to rebuttal the only complaint about these headphones I have really seen. The sound quality is not the best. Well, I say that is false; the sound quality is perfect IMO. If you read the full description the product states it is designed for runners/joggers to be able to hear traffic so for that reason they are not noise cancelling. I am not a jogger but I think I can attest to the sound quality in another way. I frequently use loud power tools such as drills, sanders, saws, grinders and etc. I can adjust the volume a bit higher while I am using one of these tools and hear my music just fine without hurting my ears and then turn it back down as I power the tool off. Now with that said, if you buy these try pushing them into your ear and then let them relax again. You will hear the difference because they are not noise cancelling. I believe the people complaining about the sound quality want to really hear the bass, these are not for you. Lastly, the only other negative I would add is that after a while the coating begins to chip off around the ear hooks. The hooks are flexible and with everyday use I suppose some wear and tear is to be expected.

    Holy Grail

I completely agree with the other review that these are the holy grail of all BT headphones! I have had many different headphones over the last few years as well as a couple different wireless ones. I run a lot, including training for half and full marathons and nobody wants to deal with wires all over the place when you're running for 2+ hours. The problem has been finding a pair that are not only comfortable but stay put. Previous headphones have had the comfort but do not stay in place and I don't want to be worried about losing them when I need to be focused on my training. These are comfortable, they don't move and the material holds up and won't show the many hours of sweat (and sometimes tears) that they have endured throughout my training. And if for some reason I do drop/lose them - they're plenty bright enough they won't be hard to find! I know most people buy headphones for the sound although that is second in priority to me for training purposes but the quality of sound definitely doesn't play second fiddle to comfort here. The sound is amazing - crisp and clear - yet I don't lose my surroundings which is very important for safety reasons for anyone utilizing them for outdoor physical activity. Lastly, I had absolutely no issues in setting these up. As soon as I powered them on and turned on my bluetooth, my phone immediately found them. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone!

Lets see I tried: Monsters BT Buds; Beats PowerBeats2; and Jaybirds. Only one that came close were the Beats, but when I ran outside (btw I'm training for half marathon) when it got warmer out they always fell out. Maybe too heavy or fittings were compliant w/ my ear design (LOL) - even after month of struggling w/ them I had to return them. The other two never stayed in my ears. Now these Plantronics are the best!! They stay in my ears (even on my hottest of runs), BT very reliable, and sound is very good ( i would argue better then any of the others). I get sound and fit is personal thing - but like me I ignored this brand for no tangible reason. The price and how well these work versus much more advertised and "image" centric brands - these should be your first stop. Sound great, BT stable, and don't FALL out! Been using them for 30days 6 days a week. No issues!! Great find! Hints: I have iphone 5s then 6 and kept in them in my flip belt or my pocket - I felt keeping BT device on my RIGHT side stabilized BT interference (better then other brands too). If you need on left and hear interference try moving to the right. Might be specific to where the BT is in the headphones (not sure). Also - battery life is very good. Works as advertised 6-8hrs before additional charge. When you turn them on it tells you battery life. Also, works w/out any issues w/ my apple watch (which also uses BT). Only negative is that need to be careful not to over turn the swivel ear piece. It may pop off. Don't worry snaps back in. Swivel allows for better fit adjusts 20-30 degrees (I think).

Needed a new pair of headphones for the gym, my requirements: cordless, "loud enough", stay in place - able to use on row machine and bench, sweat resistant, comfortable, and under $100. Actually, the Plantronics BackBeats met all of these requirements! Rereading, the requirements are not ordered - I sweat ALOT! Easy to insert over/in the ear, easy to pull out - One HUGE perk to note - the behind the neck band is flexible! The whole setup is so comfortable to wear; you can move around, lay back on a bench, the neck band does not get in the way, the earbuds don't pop out. Yet, I can pull them out, drape around my neck when needed. Bluetooth sound is good, have had ZERO problems establishing or losing connection to my phone. Because these are cordless, you need to have a routine to ensure they are charging between workouts. Micro-usb connection, you should have a couple of cords laying around. ;) Gym really blocks all cell reception, so have never used them to answer a call. Others I have tried: multiple polk audio headphones, the hanging on the ear set sound great (really great), but are quite painful for my big ears. The Polk ear buds sound decent but will not stay put - even on a treadmill. I purchased a pair of yurbuds from BB - were so painful I I returned them after one workout! So painful! Several pair of Sennheisers, the behind the neck were bothersome. The earbuds were decent, but the cord was so long I think I could skip rope with them. Yea, I sound picky. I finally found a set of headphones that are comfy, sound decent and really - just don't get in the way.

This is an initial product review and not a long term review so I plan to come back and update this once I use these headphones more. After opening the package, I was pleasantly surprised to feel the quality of these headphones. I was expecting a fairly rigid wraparound frame to then place in your ears but these ended up being rubbery with lots of movement and reminded me of the same qualilty that Apple puts out. The materials seem very durable to me and are VERY lightweight. I just completed my first run with them (5 miles at an intense pace) and despite all my sweat, I never had an issue of these falling out or slippage of any kind. They stayed planted around my ears the whole time. These were easy to pair up with my phone (iPhone 5C) and included a (very) short micro USB charging cable. The arm band/case that is also included is fairly nice however a little misleading. I ordered the green pair of headphones so my case is green. It's reversible and as a 'case' it is black. However to use it as a proper armband, you have to reverse it and now the entire case is green and it's more of a yellowish green than a neon green (which I personally don't like but I'm picky). The package also includes two small earbuds (though they don't look that much smaller) should you have smaller ears. Overall I'm very pleased with this. It was nice not having to worry about a cord when I was running. Again, I haven't used them much yet so I cannot yet speak to battery life or durability but I have high hopes with no reason to believe otherwise. If you do get these, one quick tip that would have saved me about 5 minutes is that tapping the volume button increases the volume and holding the button down lowers the volume.

I bought my BackBeat FIT after extensive research online (I was up until 3 a.m.). I was torn between these and the LG Tone Ultra, LG Tone Infinitim, and the SOL Shadow. In the end, the over-the-ear design and water repellency (plus the neat chartreuse color) helped me make my choice. I am very pleased with the headphones. They do everything I wanted them to do, which is simply to connect wirelessly with my iPod Nano, so I can listen to music when I take my daily two-mile walk, unencumbered by wires. The sound quality is what I would expect from an open design, which is fine, because it's that design that prevents me from being hit by a car. The buttons work pretty easily, once you have gotten used to them, but I wouldn't mind just a teensie, weensie, bit more volume. But, considering the low price, I can't complain. I hesitated to rate them 5 stars, but ONLY because of Plantronics' poor website support and tiny instruction booklet (I guess they're copying Apple). SUMMARY: If you're looking for an inexpensive, comfortable, water repellent, wireless headset to use for walking or jogging, these are perfect. Although I haven't tried them at my gym yet, I'm guessing they'll be okay there, too.

If you're looking for a pair of headphones to give you great sound with some situational awareness, look no further. I wanted something I could wear in the basement while I was working out but still hear my wife holler if she needed help with one of the kids. The Backbeat Fit definitely deliver. If you're looking for studio-like, isolated, mind-blowing sound, this isn't it. But if you're a runner or whatever and need some situational awareness and solid sound from a pair of open-ear headphones, the Backbeat Fit meet, nay, exceed the need. I don't have a comparable competitor unfortunately. In all my reviews I found that the closest competitor would be the wireless Beats, but as many reviews reveal, those are definitely bass heavy. And these are cheaper as well. The fit is great. The material is excellent. I wipe down with a baby wipe after every use to just to ensure the longest life possible. It takes 5 seconds and I know I'm not leaving the headphones coated in salty sweat. I get around 6-7 hours of playback time, which is around a week's worth of exercise. So battery life is decent. My headphones connect quickly and easily to all my devices. I do get a dropped connection every now and then with my Galaxy Note 3, but that could just be a compatability issue with the phone because my connection never drops when I'm connected to my bluetooth transmitter for my tv. Bottom line: AMAZING open-ear headphones. Not sounds isolating but that's the point! Sound quality is solid

When looking for a pair of Bluetooth earbuds for the gym, I did some research, and initially went with the Jaybird Freedom Sprint. Well, after having two pairs fail within four months, I decided to give the Plantronics Backbeat Fit a try. I couldn't be happier! The Backbeat Fit fits nicely in my ears, and are surprisingly comfortable. The thick band that rests behind my head doesn't kink like thinner cords tend to, and it doesn't get in the way when lying flat on a workout bench. Controls are simple to operate, and instead of cheap audible beeps like the Freedom Sprints, the headphones will tell you "Power On", "Bluetooth Connected", as well as your battery level. As with any Bluetooth earbud, battery life is important, and I get a good six hours out of these. Charging is fast, and there's a nice red ring around one of the earbuds that clearly indicates a charging state, which then turns to blue when fully charged. Sound quality is great, no complaints there, and I've taken a few calls during my workouts, which are clear, plus easy to answer. I really can't recommend these enough! So far I've owned these for about four months, and they've been through plenty of workouts without a problem. But like any Bluetooth earbud, I believe it's worth buying the Geek Squad protection, because you just never know.

Did a lot of research on bluetooth headphones made primarily for exercise. It gets a little confusing due to the range of the reviews. No matter which brand or model you check there are so many varied ratings, from excellent to piece of s@#t on the same item. So it takes some hands on listening to determine if a particular headphone suits your purpose. No one can tell you what's best for you. So, I tried several from the infamous 'Beats' to no names on amazon. Eventually went to Best Buy and gave the Plantronics a try. Before giving my impression I should say that I've used all types of phones from the really expensive audiophile types to low budget throwaways. There is definitely a difference in quality in the better brands and models so it usually pays to spend a little extra and get quality. No different here. These are VG bluetooth phones that sound very good, pair easily and are well made. After charging them I paired with my iPhone and was impressed with the quality of sound, the fit and how well they stay in my ears. Great for the gym of just hanging around the house. On a scale of 1-10 with ten being the type of sound quality you get from a very expensive pair offer the ear cans, I'd easily give these a solid 8. Looking for a set of gym, running, biking or working in the yard phones? just buy these and save the trouble of searching. You will not be dissapointed.

I usually do my research when it comes to buying good quality electronics, however this time I went into the Best Buy Store to see what they had to offer. I was looking for headphones that were bluetooth that would ring around my ear so that it wouldn't fall out of my ear when I am jogging. I also was looking to be able to take calls on my phone with the headset as well as listening to music on the go. It was magic when I found these little dream come true headphones. First of all they are super light weight and VERY VERY comfortable. I was so pleasntly surprised at the magnificent product that I had found. The bluetooth paring was so easy to do, and the headset offers all controls to accept calls, hang up, adjust the volume and change the tracks (both forward and back tracking.) I currently use this when I pair my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, iPod Nano 7, Macbook Pro , iPad Mini, Samsung Tab 4, and my Samsung Gear 2 Neo Watch. This works with all devices as I have tried it out with a bunch of others. I chose the yellow because yellow and green is my favorite color and it makes me feel energetic (laugh all you want, but thats my personal preference :) ) They also have the blue which is also a gorgeous color and i sat in the store debating for awhile which color to choose. The headphones are crystal clear and user friendly. They stay in your ear the whole time and will never fall out! This is the best headphones I have ever bought in my life and i was so impressed!! DEFIANTLY RECOMMEND! The battery life is great as well!!!!!

These headphones should've been my 1st choice. Originally,I purchased the jaybird wireless earbuds that were built for gym use, recommended by a sales associate but was unhappy with them. The sound quality was great, better than the wireless beats by dre earphones, but they would not stay in my ears with all my sweat. I found myself focusing on how I was going to keep them in my ears rather than focusing on my workout. I took them back & upgraded to the wireless beats by dre earphones. The beats were nice, lightweight, almost stayed in my ears throughout my whole workout but still could not stand up to my sweat & the other humid conditions the gym had to offer. I had them for 5 days before they went out on me & never came back on. I returned them and finally purchased The Plantronics BackBeat Fit headphones. Almost a month later & they are keeping up with me & my sweat...in the gym, sauna, steam room, pool and jacuzzi. I keep my head above the water when working out in the pool and the range is awsome. These headphones are affordable, straight to the point, have decent sound & for someone like myself who sweats alot...are a lifesaver. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who does cardio & sweats alot.

These headphones were something I definitely needed because my boyfriend always snags the wires and ends up dropping the weights on the headphones. The Plantronics BackBeat Fit resolved that issue. The design is great because it wraps around your ears and it's flexible, not stiff ( I prefer this design over the cord like design like Powerbeats Wireless). As for sound, it does the job. I was not expecting super nice bass or anything. I was looking more for durability and it has that. I also like that you can still hear your surroundings because I prefer to be slightly aware of my surroundings than to cancel it all out. Overall, the Plantronics BackBeat Fit are great for workouts. The design and fit works for my boyfriend and I. The range between device and the headphones is surprisingly good (about 30 ft). I was shocked at how well the headphones were working considering I forgot my phone in my bag and walked across the gym. The phone quality is good and clear. I love the buttons on the ears.

I wanted nice wireless headphones for running and cycling, so no more cables, that stick to a sweaty short or skin to pull of the earbud. I thought I would use this for sports only, but it is so much more convenient than cable headphones, I started to use this plantronics for walking and at the office. I can answer calls using built in microphone. They allow some surrounding sound in, which is very safe for running and cycling. When you make them louder, there is almost no outside noise, so if you are in the gym and want to hear only your music and concentrate, just make them a bit louder. Battery life is very good, I think it is around 6-10 hours of play time. More then enough for a full day of sports. I tested them in the pool but bluetooth is blocked by relatively thin layer of water (I think 1 inch or even less), so no music while swimming. Nevertheless I think this plantronics can be used safely while surfing or kiteboarding. They work great in the shower, but I do not use it that way =) Overall I am very happy.

I tried several pairs of wireless headphones. I needed to get a pair that would be comfortable, good for running, and also good to wear around the house. I didn't want anything to stick too far out of my ear, because when I'm running in the winter I want to wear a hat. I tried the Yrbuds but they weren't comfy. I tried some smaller in-ear buds but they constantly fell out. These are the perfect pair! They have an in-ear bud for a great sound and also an over-the-ear component to keep them securely in place. The over- the-ear component is so comfortable I can't even feel it. Also, these hold their charge much longer than the other two pair I tried. That is very convenient. They are easy to connect and use. I love the fact that they are waterproof because I actually dropped them and got them wet and they still work just fine. Free yourself from the tyranny of the cord and get these headphones!

Durable, good sound, no connection issues, and they STAY IN PLACE. Great battery life, and makes your phone battery last longer too. No problem to use these for a day of skiing. Unlike some models, the low profile design of these will not cause issues with things like ski helmets. They do *not* block all external sound, so you can hear things going on around you. This can be a pro or a con depending on what you want them for. For trail running, skiing, etc they are great. Sound quality is good, though of course not the same as a high end audiophile setup (but good luck trail running with those). Pros: * Good sound * Durable, no problems wearing on rainy days * Stay in place * Controls for music and phone are easy to operate * Good sound Cons: * None really. If they would stay just *little* farther in my ear it would preserve the best sound quality, but really nothing to complain about. Summary: If you're tired of finicky bluetooth headphones that fall out or are difficult to use, get a pair of these.

I wanted Bluetooth earbud headphones to be able to use while biking with a helmet. My first consideration was ear tip shape, my ears reject the "marshmallow" shaped buds, I can't keep them in my ears. These had a shape I've had success with in the past and the fact that they also go over the ears holds them quite secure. I've had numerous Plantronics telephone headsets that I've liked so I was confident in their products. The positive reviews, earbud shape and name made me decide to go with these. I love how they look and that the controls are all on the earpieces versus a wire. It takes just a little getting used to on what controls what. Someone said they were very quiet but I'm not sure if they had their volume up on their device as well, once I had both the headphones and my phone on maximum volume it was uncomfortable. I can't imagine ever needing them any louder or even coming close to maximum volume. I'm not the most discerning on sound but they sound great to me. I also enjoy the included reflective arm band.

Being an avid jogger i have used many bluetooth stereo headsets before.I have always trusted the quality of many Plantronics products, for this reason i have purchased the Plantronics FIT. I usually do my early morning run and my fitness at my local gym. The Battery life of the Plantronics fit is awesome as it gets me thru an entire day, in addition i like the fact that it has the Psi coating, which even makes it more rugged to withstand the sweat and rain. Call quality and Sound quality is truly amazing. Where as most headsets totally block out the external environmental noise the fit allows me to be aware of my surroundings but not loose a beat when listening to my music in the gym. These are excellent wireless head phones. I'm currently training for a marathon. Great fit. They have great sound. They are not noise canceling so you are able to hear someone scream or honk. This is important while running outside. They are extremely light weight. Sometimes I forget they are on my head. They do not bounce around. They stay put. They are bendable so if you are running and no longer want to have them on you could easily roll them up or stick them in a pocket with out worrying about breaking them. Many other wireless head phones are not bendable so if you don't want them on you are going to worry of where to store them. My longest run has been 3.5 hour and the headphones did not skip a beat. I have a Samsung Note 5 and the arm band that comes with the headphones will not fit the note.
