    I purchased but never opened. I read reviews before purchase, thought they would be great for water aerobics. I'm afraid they would stop working when getting wet in pool

      Our BackBeat FIT has an IP57 waterproof rating as an added layer of protection against sweat, rain or splashes but is not intended for constant submersion or underwater use. In fact Bluetooth technology does not transmit through water, therefore, no Bluetooth headset can be used underwater.

      Use in the shower or submersion to clean your headphone for less than 30 mins and above 3 feet should be safe. Plantronics

    I've owned two and they're pretty decent, but have battery life longevity issues. I'd go the AirPods route today.

    Wired earbuds are louder, if you are working out they tend to fall from your ears.

    Good fit, but poor charging

    I’ve had these headphones for 10 months, use them 4 times per week for 50 minutes. Battery life is suppose to be 8 hours- headphones won’t hold a charge. The design and fit are great, but if the battery won’t stay charged- they’re of no use to me.

    The volume quality is so bad, I could hear everything around me as if I wasn't wearing it. I felt deaf. The sales rep said it didn't have a volume control. I was extremely disappointed.

      Hello and thank you for your honest review! The BackBeat FIT features an open eartip design that allows you to be aware of your surroundings. They also feature volume control, it is located on the left headphone above the play/pause button (press to increase, press and hold to decrease). Additionally, you can also increase the volume directly on your cell phone, and then fine tune with the headphones.     They are great until they break, which they will. I actually got some money back from a class action lawsuit, do to their poor quality. Look elsewhere...

Please try using a different micro-USB cable and wall adapter to isolate the cause of the issue. You might also want to try resetting the unit. To do so: - Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds. Without releasing the Power button, plug the BB FIT in the charger. Release the Power button, Unplug the BB FIT from the charger and test the unit.     Extremely comfortable go-everywhere headphones.

    These are my absolute favorite headphones due to the very comfortable design. Having a cord bouncing around on my neck, getting caught on my shirt or backpack drove me nuts with the PowerBeats and Jaybird headsets I had before. These keep the cord off your neck and the over the ear design gives lots of support to very little weight. It also helps keep them in your ear. I'm always afraid that the apple Air pods would fall out just like the regular apple headphones that come with an iphone. The sound quality is good for bluetooth headphones. I get a decent amount of battery life out of them, about 8 hours and I use them all day everyday, running in the morning, on and off the MTR. I pop them on the charger at night next to my phone and they're good to go. They are designed to let sound IN so if you're running you can still hear cars and people around you. Not only is it safe, it makes them the perfect city headphone because you can leave them in and still hear the cashier if you stop in a store to buy something. The biggest con I have is that I take them everywhere (I mean EVERYWHERE) and they're prone to getting lost. Unfortunately the design that makes them so comfortable also makes it easy to forget and just leave draped around your neck where they eventually fall off and get lost.

    These headphone hurt the ear and pick up more background noise then the voice of the user. Everyone I talked to said they couldn't hear me over the background noise.

    Bad purchase. The Bose waterproof are coming apart 5months of usage. Sorry I do not have a pic of the initial headset I was commenting on.

      Hi! Thank you for your honest review, however we are sorry to hear you've had this experience with your Backbeat Fit. You might want to try charging it with a different charging cable and wall adapter to isolate the problem. If you have already tried this, you can do a reset:
      Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds, without releasing the button plug the BB Fit in the charger, then release the power button and finally disconnect the BB Fit from the charger. If you don't get any response, please note this unit has a limited warranty. To verify if your unit is still under warranty please contact our Customer Care Team at: https://www.plantronics.com/us/en/support/contact

      Your headset does include a limited warranty however, there's only two ways for our service team to validate it. Plantronics
