Customers are saying

Customers regard the BackBeat PRO Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones favorably, particularly praising the excellent sound quality, impressive battery life, and comfortable fit. However, some customers noted that the headphones are large and heavy, which may be uncomfortable for extended use. A few also mentioned that the bass response could be improved. Overall, the positive feedback on sound, battery, and comfort outweighs the concerns about size and weight.

These headphones are great. They are very comfortable and have great features. Also the sound is well ballanced for all types of music which is good for me because I have wide range of music I listen to. The fact that when I take them off and they pause and then play again when I put them back on again is very nice. The range is incredible and battery life is also very good. The controls are easy to use and well constructed. And for 200 dollars these things are a steal in my opinion. These are hands downs the best headphones I have ever had.

So when I first pulled these out of the box and started playing around with them I was super excited and impressed. The battery life and BT range were phenomenal. The optional active noise cancelation, auto pausing, and all the other number of features were great. I was beyond pleased with these headphones for a while. They sounded great with country, pop, and rock, but then i switched it over to rap and dubstep..... My first impression was "wow that bass!" It hit low and hard the bass sounded great but where it gained in bass it lost in the midst and highs... On my bass heavy songs when the bass hit all the mids and highs would drop half volume... This was a complete bummer.. So If you listen to music with little to no bass these are great but if you're at all a bass head, steer clear.

They had to be returned because they would not connect to any device.

Theyre too small for adult men. After an hour or two your ears are going to hurt from pressing on the cups one way or another. They are probably the absolute bare minimum size to call over the ear. They allow almost no room laterally inside the cups for your ears either. Its unfortunate because they sound good, look good, and are good for noise cancellation.

Sound so great you won't know they're wireless!

I'm usually skeptical of wireless headsets as they usually have below average sound quality, range, and usable time. These surpass all expectations! The sound is superb with plenty of punch in the lows and highs. The noise cancelling feature works wonders for blocking out the drone of the HVAC in our office and cannot wait to try them on the plane during my next vacation. Sound leak is nominal to none, even at moderate levels. Connecting to my phone was a breeze using the NFC pairing. The ability to twist the earpieces to lay flat on your chest while they're hanging from your neck is genius...plus it pauses the music while they're off your ears so it picks up right where you left off! I also enjoy being able to press a button which reduces the music and uses the mic to pipe in outside noises so you can talk to someone without having to take them off. The number of features for this price point is amazing...well done, Plantronics!

I researched wireless headphones for a long time before i finally decided to purchase Plantronics. It is not a popular brand name, so i like that because people keep asking me what it is, especially when they realise it has active noise cancellation when i cannot hear a word they are saying. I watch Hulu a lot with this, and i love that it pauses my show when i take it off my head.

These headphones have the best Bluetooth reception I've every had the pleasure of using... They live up to the claims Plantronics say they have... Great Bluetooth and long battery charge life... The ear pockets are actually a good size ( 2 inches in diameter ) at least for me they surround the whole ear comfortably... the padding for the ear pockets is plush... That goes for the strap as well that goes over your head... A little pricey but well worth the money...

Super dope headphones! Was looking for wireless headphones for post production. Gave these a test. Sounds really good. If you like the beats by dre, these headphones are perfect. The bag is really nice as well. Setup is easy and so is the charging. No batteries needed. It also tells you with a voice the volume level and the battery level when you press the buttons or turn the control. Wow! I purchased these for 200 dollars. Couldn't turn that down.

Microphone is not even close to acceptable

Anyone rating this headset more than 3 stars doesn't use the wireless mic. The mic is TERRIBLE. And it isn't just me. A buddy bought one at the same time, and his audio is likewise horrible. A Support call to PT says they are coming out with a new model with a boom mic to address the issue. $250 for headphones and the audio isn't acceptable? Returned. Too bad because the sound and other features are amazing.
