The earpiece is convenient, non obtrusive and has a wonderful sound quality, but it is also configured as though it were a headset; to be in your ear whenever turned on (Bluetooth 4.x)... The problem is that I never hear my text message or calendar alerts unless it is in my ear. I wish it could be configured to be Bluetooth (3.x) which didn't do that.

The sound quality on both ends of this are really good. Get no complaints from people I talk to.

The Plantronics - Explorer 505 Bluetooth Headset - Black has greatly helped me in my work. I could continue doing my work and at the same time talk in my phone discussing or following instructions related to my work without tying my one hand holding the phone while talking. Very clear and easy to use. I was able to double tasking with the convenience of my bluetooth headset. I love this and will stick with Plantronics.

This is a good Bluetooth headset for the price range for business or casual use.

The sound level is good and it's fairly easy to use, but the charger takes some getting used to.

This will be my third headset in as many days, and the least expensive- BUT the best one. It is small and light, comfortable and hasn't slipped yet, and louder than the others. It could be a little louder still, but that may just be my fit. After a few days of ownership, I'm still satisfied with the performance for the price. It was surprising.

Very good sound quality. Battery life is good. Very easy to pair with phone.

Bought for my wife. She did not want earphones. Likes ease of use and it fits her small ears!

Bar none this has to be the best Bluetooth earpiece i have ever had and if i lose it again i will replace it with the exact same one.

This Bluetooth has me taking some getting used to. Overall I think my work vehicle is too loud on the road to hear very well in the first place but it does seem like it’s quiet compared to my old Plantronics. I bought a new Plantronics however and it was even quieter at max volume so I brought it back and paid the $10 difference for this one. I would say it was still the right choice.

Easy to use and stays charged for a lengthy time. Reasonably priced. I'm very happy with it.

I am a fan of Plantronics brand bluetooths...I like that the music I'm listening to plays thru the Bluetooth so it eliminates the need to use earbuds. It fits comfortably in my ear.

It is nothing fancy, but does what I need it to do. Good quality, comfortable in my ear.

The only issues I have found is answering incoming calls. I may not be tapping the button hard enough. Sound is very clear and the device is lightweight and comfortable to wear for long drives.

I've had this for some time now. The construction is great. It looks professional and is a great fit in my ear. It holds a charge well too. Unfortunately the volume level at its highest is simply not sufficient to the task so this has been totally useless to me. I like their more high end products having used them for a few years at work, but in this case I would recommend that you save your money and invest in something with a bit more power.

I picked this up to replace a missing more expensive headset and was only intending to use this temporarily as I was on my way out of town for the weekend. I am very pleased with this item. It has a great sound quality, easy to use and one of the very few headsets without the ear loop. I don't think I need to buy the more expensive one again as this one provides the same quality for a much better price.

Very light, but fits well. Clear audio. Only issues that I had was there's no notification for messages and if you are on a call there's no beep once the person hangs up, just silence. Charges quickly. Overall, it's very well worth the price!

Overall a good item. The battery lasts quite a while and it keeps a good connection. Comfortable with or without the over ear attachment. The in call volume could be a bit louder for outdoor spaces or windows down, but I'm happy with it.
