I still like this bluetooth compared to some other brands purchased. I came back to this one (it was sold out at the time so I tried another brand). This one seems to disconnect when the phones (I have two and have for years) are both on me. I noticed this on the last one, but never had this problem on the past units. Still the best, still the loudest and it has decent noise cancelling. It's the best for the money when you go thru them like I do.

Bought this for my wife, her older one finally met its fate. She loves it and I can tell you it does a great job filtering out background noise. Seven hours of battery time, could be better, but sound quality and ease of use 5 stars.

The transmission is clear, the price is right. But the volume isnt loud enough and i had to cut the little loop and shave down the left over nubs to get it to be more comfortable. When i press it into my ear its louder so maybe its just a fitment issue for me. If budget is an issue this is a good option. If money isnt an issue i would buy a better one.

Great ear piece for the price. You can hear pretty good on it and no complaints from the other end of the phone either. Battery lasts a while and charges quickly.

The device fits & stays in my ear without the need for the extra wrap around earpiece, which is nice. The sound is good for phone calls & listening to other audio (music, sporting events, etc.).

Picks up a decent amount of background noise, I dont know what brand doesnt... tried apple airpods but they wont stay in my ears plus if you absentmindedly wear both while driving you can get pulled over, so I went back to this brand after my first one got smashed and after trying airpods. Stays in my ear. I like it. Good on pricepoint. And you can change which ear it goes in to zap em both with those electromagnetic fields. :P

I purchased the Plantronics Explorer 505 after a bit of research on a BT headset that was small and could be used for conference calls from both 1. my MS Surface and 2. my Phone. The 505 seemed to fit the bill. Good: Fit: Fit is good and you will be able to wear comfortably for long conference calls. Battery: Battery life is very good, lasting close to advertised times. Bad: - Bluetooth: The BT execution is poor. The system often will not reconnect to my phone and i have to manually re-pair them. This seems to happen most if you have more than 1 device paired. But Plantronics advertises this prominately so i expect it to work. - Call Quality: Callers report that my voice would intermittently drop out and sound distant on calls. Adjusting source volume and headset volume did not fix it, re-pairing did not fix it. I attribute this to either the BT implementation or the microphone. Summary: Decent product for the fit and battery life, but BT implementation holds it back from being recomended for conference calls.

Hi Thomas! Thank you for sharing your feedback on our Explorer 505 Headset. We're sorry to hear about your experience. The Explorer 505 is compatible with any device that supports Bluetooth headsets. As you know, your Surface computer is equipped with an internal Bluetooth adapter. Bluetooth technology works through several bluetooth profiles, and these are the ones that the bluetooth card should have to at least allow a connection to the headphones: Audio transmissions, Hands Free (HFP) and/or Headset (HSP) Bluetooth profiles. Nowadays many computers have Bluetooth built-in but not all of them support Bluetooth headsets. Many times, these drivers are not installed by default - even on new computer installations. To isolate the cause of the issue, please test your earpiece while it is connected to your phone only and see if you get the same results. afterwards, you might also want to try testing while connected to two phones. If you don't get connection issues then this is not related to the earpiece itself. If this is not the case, please note this unit has a one-year limited warranty from date of purchase. Feel free to contact our Customer Care Team at: https://www.plantronics.com/us/en/support/contact if you require further assistance! plantronics
