They usually outlast the warranty period which is rare for most mid-range headsets. The Explorer 505 is not different. I've been pleased with the performance and would recommend it to anyone looking for a mid-range ($) bargain. The battery isn't the longest lasting but works well for my use. The mobile charging cable is a plus. Its nice design makes it easy to transport to the office.

The store near me did not have the model I was looking for, but the sales associate recommended this model. I have no complaints about the unit so far. The calls are very clear and I only had one dropped call when I turned on my microwave oven. Other than that, it is working very well.

My other earpieces, of different brands, had more than enough volume for me. This particular earpiece also had random static, which may have been fixed by a replacement. The unit fit well in my ear, and the controls were easy to use.

Since I have an older vehicle without internal Bluetooth capabilities, I wanted to be able to talk with my family while driving home from work...do I need to stop for groceries on my way home? Should I pick up the mail from the mailbox?, etc. This device allows me to ask these questions with just a press of a button and my voice commands to make a call, send a text, or more.
