This bluetooth is good for the price, but can be a little uncofmortable to wear for long periods of time. Volume does not go very loud, but people I have called say the quality is good and the noise/wind reduction is very good. So overall good value for the price.

I’ve been using the Plantronics Explorer 505 headset for a few weeks and am very pleased with the results. For the money, it is a good mix of functionality and price. Unlike other earpieces I’ve purchased, this one fits snugly in my ear with no fiddling required. I do use the ear loop which is also easy to attach. My only complaint is that when the speaker on the other end raises their voice, there is some distortion. I suspect a more expensive earpiece would not have this problem. Other than that, I recommend this product and would buy it again.

I have always been frustrated by blue tooth headsets that claim to work seamlessly with your phone. Now, I have finally found a headset that truly delivers on this promise!! The Plantronics Explorer 505 is that headset! Once you turn it on, it is intelligent. It enters pairing mode automatically, and works with Apples SIRI, uses verbal cues to answer or decline calls and much more. The sweetest feature is its ability to connect to two different bluetooth appliances! I connect to my phone, and to my Ipad...it knows which one it's using, or whether both are being used and divides it's attention accordingly. It also comes with a "holder, charger" that not only charges the headset via USB, but also provides a storage solution for you headset! At $59 it is one of the best deals out there, and it's available now at Best Buy!!! It is brand-new to the Plantronics line, and this is the same company that makes Headsets for Air Traffic Controllers in the FAA! A dependable, excellent, company trusted by many!

Nice Bluetooth headset that works with two Iphones. This is the second time I've bought this model. Usually I need to replace headsets due to breakage in my pocket, but my original purchase lasted 3 years until I lost it. Price was reasonable for sound quality and ease of use. The only downside, if there is one, is that this unit doesn't announce the phone number on incoming calls like another headset I had, albeit much more expensive. I dont know if that's a feature I need to enable or if it's just not available. In my case, it's just as easy to look at the face of my apple watch to see whos calling.

Once you have gone hands-free, you will never turn back. I've used Plantronics bluetooth for years. This one met all my expectations. It doesn't turn up as loud as some of my previous bluetooths but the quality of sound is good.

This is my second Plantronics 505 Bluetooth headset. My puppy ate the first one. It is an excellent product. There are times I've even forgotten that I am wearing it. The sound, whether listening to music or talking with someone, is true and loudness is easily controlled. I highly recommend this Bluetooth headset to anyone wanting to purchase a quality product!

Prior to this Plantronics headset, I was a Motorola user for years. The problem I had with Motorola was that the buttons were very hard to get the right pressure and it would keep reconnecting with the iphone. I don't have that problem with the Plantronics headset. This headset also fits inside my ear very comfortably, which I prefer to the hooks that go over your ear. The only real problem with the Plantronics is that its max talk time is 7 hours, whereas I was used to 11 hours on the Motorola.

Just set up today. Easy set up, logical portable charging, small, lightweight, great design, non-obtrusive and pretty good sound. Has a good set up find feature, but have not set that up yet. seems like a good value so far!

I have had several bluetooth,'s through the years. I was afraid to change to another brand but finally took a chance on this one and absolutely recommend it! It is very comfortable, lightweight, and is of outstanding quality! I never have a problem hearing or being heard when using it!

I wanted to buy a handsfree setup to talk on the phone with no cords to get tangled or caught on things. WOW did I make a great purchase. I love this Plantronics 505. Ive had it almost a year now and use it almost everyday. I work in the construction trade and inspect buildings, climb ladders, work with tools, etc..... this ear bud allows me to have my hands free at all times with no cords. Sound quality is amazing, clarity is perfect, volume?? Kinda light but I'm also hard of hearing but if the person is too quiet I just set my finger on the unit and louder she be!!! Most the time I forget I'm even wearing it because it's extremely light and comfortable in the ear. Dont let the lower price fool you great buy, great product!!

I have had 3 Plantronics blue tooth headset. I keep coming back to the brand as reliable and durable. This headset plays system audio (music, GPS instructions, etc.) in your ear as you walk or drive. Not all do! This model has a new clear rubbery plastic thing that is supposed to hold it in my ear. Um, no, doesn't work at all for me. It kept falling out. I attached the clear clip, and of all 3 headsets this is least comfortable and hardest to put on. The headset tells me I have 7 hours of talk time (awesome) when I turn it on. For the extra money I sent to get a high quality earpiece I'm somewhat disappointed.

This is an old design by Plantronics but I have tried the newer ones and I am back to this Explorer 500. It has great range, is very comfortable for me and the sound is great. It's also small, without the microphone boom, yet it picks up my voice no problem. I rarely use it outside, though, so I can't say how well it does with wind noise. I am a repeat buyer and I highly recommend this one. The only reason I stopped using my old one is that it got clogged up with ear wax after many years of almost daily use.

I purchased this headset to replace a Plantronics Voyager and it fits the bill! It's light and has good sound. Unlike the Voyager though, taking it off out of your ear doesnt cut the bluetooth connections. The charging cable is really cool though with its magnet. Too bad the earpiece doesn't come with a case though...

This unit gives me up to 7 hours of talk time and holds it's charge indefinitely when it is turned off. It is very clear to hear and easy to use.

Awesome ear piece for the price. This product sounds great and is at a decent price compared to others in which don't sound as good. The style and feel are compliment each other and is easy to pair with your device. I like the new USB charging cable!! Its compact and sturdy. I am very happy with my purchase.

The unit is easy to operate and use. It is comfortable in the ear and the communications and voice is very clear. I think the volume could go a little louder, however it is good.

This is the best Bluetooth headset I've ever owned. I've actually owned another one of this brand and that one was also great. I had it for a few years before the mic went in it, so I bought this one which was a newer model. It was super easy to pair. Crystal clear, & no background noise!
