Best headphones I have ever used for gaming. They are super light and comfy. Have great sound and bass. You can also select different modes that make FPS games really pop. Wanna hear those enemy footsteps? Get these. The flip up to mute mic is also really great. They are wireless and the battery seems to last weeks on a single charge for me playing an hour or two a night average.

Needed a better headset for chat on the xbox but didn't really want one that played the game audio because I have a surround sound system already set up. But I am glad I tried this headset. Been playing red dead 2 with it and it is so immersive, the birds sound like they are above your head and the small animals are running around below you. Gunshots are very easy to locate and sound awesome. The headset is very comfortable once you get it adjusted and can wear it for many hours without discomfort. Battery life is good lasting a few days of 5 hour play time.

This is my 3rd headset in the last 8 years, you can get about 2 to 3 years out of them til they start to develop a static. But overall these are the best wireless headsets for Xbox. They don't require you to plug into the controller, you can actually walk about 50ft from your console before they start to cut out. Dolby Atmos surround and able to adjust the game/chat is awesome. Highly recommend the extended warranty on these as well.

Best headset for the price. They're Comfortable, light weight, and true surround sound. Gamers, you WILL hear everything in your game. The adjustment knob that controls the game and chat sound can be tricky at the beginning, but it's fairly simple to catch on to. The Dolby Atmos code to enhance the sound experience is a bonus. Gamers should really check these out, you won't be disappointed. You will understand the saying " bang for your buck". Great job Plantronics!

Everything about this is awesome It sounds great too! Battery last so many days without me needing to charge it. (Mind you, I play daily for about a hour or two) Has a switch to switch between pc/Xbox is is also convenient Only thing I wish this headset had was wireless connectivity to the Xbox like their controllers do. But instead you have to use one of your Xbox USB slots for its receiver. Really not that big of deal but something to keep in mind before buying this

The headset worked perfectly. The wireless headsets allows a lot of freedom to move around without having a controller on me. I would gladly repurchase these if I had to do it all over again. Also, the Dolby Atmos is amazing and is a great bonus!

Was a loyal plantronics user for many years, then started buying cheaper headsets. I noticed recently that over the last few years headsets were becoming disposable in my household. I decided to go back to plantronics and am not disappointed. The sound quality is so much better and this headset is very comfortable for long gaming sessions. I haven’t run out of power during a game yet so battery life is top notch. The flip to mute mic is a great feature and now that I have it, I couldn’t imagine life without it.

Plantronics - RIG 800LX SE Wireless Gaming Headset with Dolby Atmos for Xbox One - Black. These headsets overall sound really really good with the exception of one thing, bass. They lack the ability to process lows efficiently which causes distortion. They are probably the most comfortable I've tested/owned. I'm currently using these over my Astro A40's because these are 100% wireless! I'll give up a bit of bass and continue to use these. I would still recommend them still.

There is always going to be the bigger badder spender item in whatever you buy however after many different brands and pairs of gaming headsets I chose these...very lightweight and after awhile you kinda forget they are there...super comfy durable and sturdy...not too complicated to navigate...I like the keep it simple stupid approach lol...Dolby Atmos sounds phenomenal and I am very pleased without having to spend 200 or more for a quality well k own name in the headset world...

Initially when looking at the headset it looks cheap with the rubberized plastic on the top, however this is far from the truth. The headset has an amazing sound quality with the Dolby Atmos, and is extremely comfortable. The headband at the top prevents too much pressure being applied to your ears, and increases overall comfort. I switched from Astro A50 to these, and i will never go back. The battery life is typically about 20-24 hours on a full charge, and recharges quickly.

Purchased these back in July of 2019 so coming up on two years of usage. Sound quality has been good with the free subscription of Dolby Atmos that comes included with these. Battery life has held up well as well. The only issue I’ve ever experienced with these in which has only happened a handful of times is a connection problem where I’d have to unplug the receiver from my Xbox and plug it back in.

About a year ago I bought the Turtle Beach Stealth 700s. After a year they kept dropping connection and my friends said they could barely hear me. So I bought these Rig 800lx instead. I can’t even begin to describe what a huge difference they make. Especially the Dolby Atmos (which comes with them). There’s a demo in Dolby access with a bird flying around. It sounds like it’s actually flying around my head and I found myself looking up for it. They are insane and worth every penny

I have to admit that I've gone through several headsets. I'm very picky mostly because my head is sensitive to how tight they squeeze. I have absolutely no complaints about this headset. Sound quality is amazing, battery life is impressive, extremely lightweight and I've owned several Turtle Beach headsets. I was so pleased with them that I bought one for my nephew and brother.

What an unbelievable difference to the Astro A40TRs. I took a chance just because of the reviews. The Astro mic sucks and I wanted something better. The audio is just as good if not better and the mic is leaps and bounds better or so say my friends. If your on the fence I would recommend, get it and don’t look back. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve used a variety of headphones from Turtle Beach to Astro’s and found the RIG series by Plantronics to be the most comfortable, especially for those who wear glasses. Can wear these for hours without any discomfort. Sound is very nice, though not the best out there. As an average gamer and part-time video editor, I appreciate feeling comfortable during long hours and still have great sound. 2-yr Dolby Atmos subscription is a plus!

Great headphones at a great price. I like these better than some of my other headsets that cost over twice as much. Its very comfortable, has very good sound and positional audio. It doesn't isolate from outside sound, which I like. It's nice to be able to hear someone calling for you with these on. Batter life is fantastic, they claim 24hrs of use per charge. I'd say that's probably accurate, I haven't drained them down past medium after using them 3-4 hours a day for several days.

This wireless headset is not cheap. The sound quality is outstanding, but I think it is the comfort of the headphones that put them over the top for me. They are quite simply the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned. The microphone is permanently attached and mutes when raised. It also has a very nice feature that when it is unmuted, it allows you to hear some of the sound in the room which makes it feel less like you are wearing headphones. My only complaint is the on/off switch rattles just a little bit when you move your head from side to side. It took me a couple of months to deduce that this was the problem and not something loose inside the headphones themselves. We have used this on an Xbox one and PC... And it did wonderful on both. Occasionally if the battery runs completely down, it loses its pairing with the base. speaking of which, the base attaches to the Xbox or PC through USB. for PC, this means that when you want to use the headset you have to change the sound output from speakers to the headset which is unannoyance forced on us by Windows. If you can deal with the minor rattling of the on/off switch and the fact that you have to switch your sound output on a PC, there are no other complaints for this headset. Waited to post this review to make sure it held up because it is so expensive. It has done so amazingly (with daily use) over the past 15 months.

I have an Xbox one and a Nintendo Switch, so I bought them because I had read that it can be used and both. Turns out you can the head set comes with a dongle that has a Xbox and PC switch. The Nintendo Switch works under the PC side. The only downside is that there is no volume or chat mixing directly from headset on the Switch. That is a Nintendo thing not headset. They have good battery, sound, and are quite comfortable.

These are the most comfortable head phones I've had. They are light, but some how the strap distributes the weight in a way that allows me to wear these for any period of time. They sound great too, although nothing beats actual speakers, these are the next best thing. I haven't heard the mic on the other end however, so I can't tell if it sounds good or not. I'm sure it's fine.

Very nice wireless headset. You get what you pay for. Keeps a charge for a long time, doesn’t hurt your ears over extended wear times. Only negative is my wired Tritons with dolby are definitely a louder headset than these. I enjoy using them but they don’t go as loud as I need them to be for hardcore Call of Duty. They may be great for certain games, but when you need to hear footsteps and enemy movement loud is the way to go.
