Plantronics Voyager

I have gotten use to it and am happy with it so far...A little different on the ear, but overall very please with the performance.

Not the best Bluetooth that Plantronics hasade!

This inconvenience makes this a no go for me and I plan on returning it and getting a different model

NICE UPGRADE !!!!!

Sound quality is on par with both of these older units, but the wind noise reduction needs some work. Maybe a firmware upgrade will do the trick....still love this unit

It can't work if it won't stay in your ear!

But no matter what I did, it wouldn't stay in my ear unless I used the inconvenient and uncomfortable loop for behind the ear. I tried all three sizes of ear piece, none worked. Other brands have gel buds with smaller loops inside the ear, and with small areas that fit into the ear canal. They stay on fine and are very comfortable. Not only won't this one stay, when it is loose, it jiggles and breaks the phone connection. I tried everything for 3 weeks before giving up and buying a Motorola Boom... only because the BOSE that I had for years is no longer made.

When we design a specific headset we aim to accommodate around 80-90% of different ear shapes and sizes but unfortunately one size doesn't fit all. If the headset is uncomfortable to wear, feels loose in your ear or just seems like it'll fall regardless of the eartip size you are using we do recommend trying a headset with a different wearing style.
We will make sure to forward this feedback to our product managers for them to consider when designing future products.

Decent but not excellent headset

I have, in most recent years, been using Bose headsets....The last Bose headset I purchased was Excellent (with the previous version being between Decent and Excellent) but they are no longer manufactured and I was forced to research and try new ones. After a lot of research I thought this was the headset for me but it fits poorly and the sound quality does not seem any better than mic'd skullcandy headphones...at least to me. I am going to test out some other highly rated headsets out there because this one is not very great and I am still searching for something that is close to the Bose headsets.

Falls out of ear

Posted .Hi-have you tried with different size of eartips? If you have, we are sorry to hear that Voyager Edge headset doesn't fit you. You may want to check out other bluetooth design such as Plantronics Voyager Legend that has similar features as Voyager Edge.

Works great

Only problem I had was I can't charge the device in the cradle without taking the plastic piece that goes around your ear off. But I have decided to leave the plastic piece off and choose a bigger gel insert. Problem solved.

My favorite Bluetooth ear piece ever !!

Incoming & outgoing voice quality has been outstanding. I rarely give 5 stars on anything but the "edge" is a winner.

Not as good as I hoped

Most people I speak to while using it tell me that my voice is much quieter (difficult to hear) than it was with my old earpiece. Maybe the better noise cancelling ability is cancelling out my voice. The battery hasn't lasted a full six hours as they claim it should. I noticed that when it gets down to one hour of talk time remaining, it tends to disconnect from my phone sitting beside me. I could understand its range becoming less as the battery weakens but not that much. So I have only been able to get 5 hours of talk time out of it. It is a good product, just not what I hoped it would be.

Posted .You might want to try fully draining and recharging your unit's battery and then resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issues. To do so;
1.. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
3. Re-pair the headset with your phone.
If this does not fix your issue with the microphone quality being bad or the volume being too low, we suggest pairing the headset to another cell phone as a test. If the issue is not present on the second phone, then the problem may be with the first phone, rather than the headset. If the issue exists on the second phone as well, you will need to replace the headset. Please don't hesitate to contact our customer care group at www.plantronics.com/support if you require assistance.

Keeps Disconnecting

I tried everything besides replacing the unit. Currently I have a ticket open with Plantronics and ave not been contacted. Hopefully I get this replaced and can provide a better rating.
