This is my third Plantronics headset.this one seems to have a longer range from my cell phone. Battery life is longer than my previous model. The sound quality is excellent. I use a Bluetooth for my work at home all the time. This is a very good one.

It paired easily out of the box, has some cool voice command features and can stream music (nifty but still sucks in only one ear, nice for podcasts or audiobooks though). My only gripe is that while paired to my iPhone 6S Plus, volume can be too loud even when I turn it down on both the phone and earpiece. It's find out in the city, but in quiet areas it begins to hurt my ears... hopefully a phone OS reinstall helps, resetting and re-pairing the headset did not.

I've owned other Bluetooth headset before, but they would usually fall out of my ear completely, or part of the way, which made it hard to hear the caller. This is the first one that has actually stayed in place well. Sound quality is good and overall a great headset. I give it 4/5 stars because sometimes it switches off when I'm on a call. It seems to do that most often at work, so maybe there is some RF interference. But I'm not sure. Overall I love this thing.

I've been a big fan of Jawbone, but returned to Plantronics after reading the reviews. The sound is great on both ends and the comfort options are just right. The talk time is more than adequate and the weird coffin charger is kinda cool, but useful.

I love this! I have owned many in ear headsets. So far this one is great. Clear, crisp and very comfortable to wear. I have SMALL ears and the small ear piece works fine. It gets a little uncomfortable after long wear time but nothing unbearable.

I like the earbud for listening to music, but it does not eliminate background noise when talking to someone while outside. I really liked my jawbone ERA, but when it quit working I could not find another. The pairing with this plantronics voyager edge does not automatically pick up the call when I am calling. It works great for receiving calls. People I talk to state that even though they can hear background (wind) noise they can still hear my voice clear.

The charging case is fantastic. Moved up(?) from the Legend. In general, I like it better, sound, ear fit, reliability.
I had 2 Legends die over 16 months. The one negative about the Edge is its background noise blocking capability. The Legend was fantastic! Blocked wind noise particularly well. The Edge does not.
I would recommend this with that reservation.

Great headset, but noise cancelling not perfect

I make phone calls daily from inside a noisy shopping mall and outside walking in the park, so noise cancelling is a top priority for me. Over the years I have tried many flagship headsets that purported to cancel noise, such as the original Jawbone, Jawbone Prime, Jawbone Icon, Jawbone ERA, Bose BT2, Plantronics 975, and Motorola Finiti to name a few. Each headset had strengths and weaknesses, but none would cancel enough noise. So, whenever a new headset comes out that promises better noise cancelling, I give it a try for the sake of the people I call. The Plantronics Voyager Edge is the latest candidate.
The Edge is a nice piece of hardware and feels well made. The controls are laid out fine and are easy to use, and the battery case is terrific for keeping the headset safe in my briefcase and charged up between calls. It connects to my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) quickly, something not all of the headsets I've tried do. I do not use any of the features afforded by the facial proximity sensors, so I turned them off using a slick utility I downloaded from the Plantronics website.
The sound quality of calls on my side is good, with plenty of volume on tap, which is important when you spend as much time on the phone in noisy places as I do. The sound quality the person on the other end hears can be a mixed bag, depending on the environment. The noise cancelling seems to take a moment to identify a noise that needs to be cancelled, so sometimes the person on the other end hears a piercingly loud noise that the gets muted to acceptable levels. Some noises like the beep of a grocery store scanner have been described to me by the person on the other end as "OMG, that's so LOUD!". Screaming children in the mall play area - LOUD. I should point out that in all of these cases, the person on the other end hears me fine, but there is a LOT of background noise getting amplified too, I am also frequently told that I am very loud, and that when I call they have to turn me down to the lowest volume or I'm blowing them away. I never heard this complaint with my other headsets. The one case that has not been improved upon is performance in windy conditions. Without fail callers on the other end either hear the wind, or tell me I'm cutting out because the headset is trying to cope with the wind noise.
No headset I've tried has delivered on the noise cancelling promises it has made, none are perfect, and each one has had its own problems, and the Voyager Edge is no exception. It's at least as good as any other premium headset I've tried, better at some things, worse at others, and I continue to use it everyday.
I would recommend this headset, just know that you need to take the noise cancelling claims with a grain of salt.

Bought this as a replacement for the Moto Hint that I returned (thank God for Best Buy easy return policy!) and couldn't be happier. It's very comfortable and has different inserts for different ear sizes. Sound is amazing on both ends of the conversation. Voice answer feature is something I can't live without as I often have my hands full and busy when using it. Works great with Moto Voice and Google Voice. The included charging case is wonderful for long trips away from a charger and stores enough charge to recharge the earbud for use.

Very comfortable design. Nice clarity and overall works well. The issues I have is that the device talks too much. When you just want to connect quickly and talk the device goes through a sequence of long drawn out explanations of what's it's doing, talk time and that device is connected. In the meantime you cannot hear the person on the phone and this is very irritating. Also when you turn up volume it has to speak letting you know where the volume is at and again you cannot hear the person talking. Also has issues disconnecting for no reason regardless of what type phone you're using. If manufacturing company would rid the device talking I'd have given it a 4.5 instead of a 3. I'd recommend it but would caution friends with the aforementioned irritants.

The Voyager Edge is a comfortable device that will fit either ear. I have worn it for hours at a time with no fatigue. Callers are easily heard with the device and they cannot tell I'm on a headset. What more could be asked.

Very comfortable fit. Light on my ear. Set up was amazing. Pulled out of box and started using. Although it comes with a charging case it doesn't hold a charge very long. Very inconvenient to carry charging case in my purse.

Box says up to 16 hours talk time that's what drew me towards buying it honestly you get 6 hours on full charge the carrying case charges it again for another 6 hour use. Every time you try to call you have to choose the Bluetooth through the phone not so friendly with Apple iPhone 6s I guess. Overall if I had the choice to return I would!

I use this daily for hours and it's comfortable to the ear and lightweight. The sound is clear both through the earpiece and on the receiving end. It's also great for listening to music or watching videos.
