slightly uncomfortable for long periods of wearing and battery doesn't last a full day with moderate use. Charging station is neat if you do not use the ear clip, otherwise you need to take it off and risk losing it. I have reverted back to my older Motorola headset and use this as a backup.

I liked it a lot at first and then the problems started. Whenever I would get a text while on the phone it would modulate the call and I would have to turn it off and go to my speaker phone. It would get a little staticky from time to time. The other problem is that sometimes the other person would say it's hard to hear me.

That may be an issue with the headset or with the connection between the headset and phone. You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so,

      1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
      2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
      3. Re-pair the headset with your phone. and test.

If the issue is the same we can replace the headset. You can use the following url to view our replacement steps.

Thank you for your honest review, we appreciate your feedback!

If the headset doesn't feel comfortable or secure we recommend that you try slightly rotating the gel eartip in order to see if the fit improves. Using a different size of ear tip or changing ears every few hours can also help. Plantronics

This headset is by far the best one I've owned. I use a headset everyday for work so I researched this for many hours before buying. The headset is easy to setup and pair. It pairs with multiply devices at once, so If I'm listening to music on my iPod and a call comes in on my phone, it pauses the song and answers the call. When I end the call the song starts back up. That's cool. The noise cancelling is outstanding. The last headset I owned, people would tell me that they could hear to much background noise. With this one I have to tell people I'm on a headset. I even stood next to a idling diesel truck and used it while on a call to my wife. She said she could hear a slight noise but could not tell what it was. To me, that's impressive. That must be because of the three microphones built into the unit. Two of the mics are for noise cancelling and the third for your voice. This is a huge plus over any headset I've ever owned. The caller id feature works great as well. Also, If you have the headset out of your ear and the phone rings you can just put it into your ear and it automatically answers the call for you. Again a big feature over any other headset out there. The volume is outstanding and I have had to turn it way down so it's not to loud. The portable charging case is a plus, but not needed. It does come in handy if you need a quick charge. If you want to put the headset in your pocket when not in use, the portable charger is what I would recommend. It fits nicely in your pocket and secures and protects it while charging. The battery on this thing is amazing. You would have to talk a whole lot during the day to run this unit down. The price of this headset is a bit more than others, but if you want a quality Bluetooth headset this is the best thing on the market right now. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a Bluetooth headset that has all the features you will ever need and more.

Best blue tooth headset device used thus far

I bought this originally to pair with my Samsung Galaxy S 5 and have since upgraded to the Iphone 6 and have had no problems pairing with either device. Call clarity is the best I have experienced out of any blue tooth device I have used thus far which have been many. It comes with different sized earpieces for adjustable comfort level as well as a plastic behind the ear hook for an extra secure fit. The headset comes with a charging cradle that is small in size and fits it perfectly but also holds an extra charge for portability and gives and extra 6 hours of talk time when on a long road trip for example. I don't recommend putting this in the washer machine but mine accidentally went through a full cycle plus a dryer cycle and SURVIVED but again I do not recommend you test this feature out.

I can hear clearly and can even answer the phone by saying " answer" Now for the down side..Very uncomfortable. Packaging said up to 13 hours talk time and when fully charged the unit says it only has 6 hours. Sometimes I have a hard time getting the unit to charge.

This model has up to 6 hours of talk time on its own. The included charging case can charge this headset up to an additional 10 hours of talk time. With a fully charged case and headset, this model can provide you up to 16 hours of talk time.

My prior Bluetooth headset was Plantronics and it was awesome. Finite life, though. I replaced it with what appeared to be an upgrade. It isn't. Don't hear as well or sound as good. And the device fell apart in a couple of months.

    NICE BLUETOOTH EAR PIECE

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I would give it 5 stars but I have only had it 3 days now, need a bit more time but for now it sync'd up very easy with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Positive Aspects: 1. Made a few calls and the sound is very clear 2. Also sounds really clear when using GPS 3. Charger is really nice feature, easily inserts and charges ear piece with no issues 4. I've read a few minor complaints about the rubber piece holding the ear piece does not fit correctly. Mine fits fine and I can shake my head and it doesn't fall out. There are several sizes that come with the unit. 5. Bought this for talking, not jamming to music. It works adequately with Rhapsody. If want a powered headset I would of bought the "Beats". A few Minor inconveniences 1. Volume could be louder, my phone volume is all the way up and the ear piece is all the way up and it's just loud enough. But there are times depending on my work environment that I would need it louder. We'll see 2. If you use the ear piece adapter that goes around your ear you cannot use the charger, it won't fit in there. You have to use the charging cable directly to the ear piece. 3. I wish the rubber adapter was a foam piece that would fit snugly in my ear canal, this would probably solve the volume concern. Overall it works great, very nice commands for taking calls and making calls.

I had a Jawbone for years and decided to purchase the Plantronics Edge because the additional features sounded appealing. They probably would be appealing if they worked with any consistency. The "ANSWER" verbal command hardly ever works, and pressing the "TALK" button to find out remaining talk time or to redial rarely, if ever, works. Consequently, this device doesn't support hands-free driving, since I have to keep using the actual phone because the headset functions that are supposed to allow me to be hands-free don't work. I am extremely disappointed; and despite being out-of-pocket for this pricey bluetooth device, I will likely purchase something else.

      Hello-

We are very sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Voyager Edge. You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do this, first delete the headset from your phone's list of paired devices. Once deleted, make sure to power your phone completely off. Then power it back on. (This will reset the Bluetooth stack in the BT software on the phone). Then re-pair the headset with your phone.

If this does not help, please contact us directly at http://www.plantronics.com/support/ and we will be happy to help with a little more in depth troubleshooting.Plantronics

We are very sorry for your experience with our Voyager Edge Bluetooth headset.

When we design a specific headset we aim to accommodate around 80-90% of different ear shapes and sizes but unfortunately one size (or in this case one style) doesn't fit all. If the headset is uncomfortable to wear, feels loose in your ear or just seems like it'll fall regardless of the eartip size you are using we do recommend trying a headset with a different wearing style (like the Voyager Legend you mentioned on this review).

We will forward this feedback to our product managers for them to consider when designing future products. Plantronics

If the audio keeps switching back to your phone this might indicate the headset is not properly sitting in your ear. We recommend that you try another eartip size or using the headset on the opposite ear. If the issue persists you can disable your headset's wearing sensor through our Hub app for iOS and Android. Please don't hesitate to contact us at www.plantronics.com/support if you require assistance with your unit. Plantronics
