This headset worked great for about a week. Then it just quit taking calls. When a call would come in, it would connect long enough to say hello....then click. Not a good way to greet customers on the phone. Had to return, bought a different one.

I got this for my husband because Plantronics is very good, but it was not a good choice for him being that he works outside. You couldn't hear him clearly it was always breaking up so I had to exchange it.

Sound is great, but fit could be better!

The base charger unit is great! The sound quality is excellent once you get it in your ear just right. The fit is the negative to this device! Depending on your ear will determine how comfortable and how well it fits. The plus for me is that it comes with an over the ear hook. I tried it without it after selecting the rubber cushion appropriate for my ear. It was not secure enough! I then installed the over ear hook and the fit is great! I had my car stereo turned up while driving and the person I called could only hear me LOUD & CLEAR! The other person did not even know my stereo was on. I tried the Sliver and although nice secure design comfort was not best and distance from phone was much less than quoted! The Edge has lived up to all of its claims thus far! When activating the calling feature you must press and hold the button on the device until it is activated. Bear in mind this causes the device to press into your inner ear canal. That proves to be somewhat uncomfortable, but not terrible. Answering is a breeze! You may either pick up the device and insert it in your ear or answer by saying "answer" or "ignore"! I would have given 5 stars if fit was better. By better I mean more secure and comfortable! SKIP THE MOTOROLA SLIVER! At the current price point, you are getting what you wanted and what you paid for with the Edge!

Hello all,
I am a frequent Bluetooth user. I have used one for almost 10 years now. I think they are the best devices created for the mobile phone. It just makes driving easier and less distracting among it's many other uses. With that said, I do actually love this Bluetooth device. There are some cons to it but overall, I am very happy with it.
Pros:
-It's small, compact and comes with it's own mobile charger.
-It has very clear sound quality, and background noise filtering.
-It picks up everything with clarity... I've been asked about some of the background noises because of the clarity but it isn't overbearing. (quite simply, It don't make my Keurig sound like a helicopter landing...)
Cons:
-You must use the ear hook. At least in my case... maybe I have odd ears, IDK but I cant just pop it in like headphones.
-Im a man... I don't carry a purse. So although the tooth in mobile charger fits in my pocket...It has no place to store the ear hook while it's attached to the tooth. So I am wondering how long it will take for me to have to replace the hook from the constant attaching/detaching.
-After wearing it for an hour or more, I get a tender/soreness develops in that outer ear area.
That's all I can really say about it... It works great. I do like it... I have had more comfortable devices in the past but honestly... It gives me a reason to end a call if I have to.
There You have it... I hope this helps you decide if this is the perfect fit for you!!!
Happy Shopping!

I'm sorry to hear you have been having issues with your headset. You may want to try resetting the connection to see if that corrects the issue. To reset: 1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices. 2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone. 3. Re-pair the headset with your phone. and test.
Or if the headset is defective we can replace it. You can use the following url to view our replacement steps. http://www.plantronics.com/us/support/kb/detail.jsp?vfurl=/articles/en_US/Warranty/RN9669&retURL=%2Fapex%2FknowledgeSearch®ion=us&p=&c=All&k=replacement&t=All&lang=en_US&popup=false&c=All

This is my third Plantronics headset, have had two legends. This headset is awesome for the first two days of use. Very loud and clear audio on the receiving end....way better than the legend. Other party report very clear audio coming in as well. Had to use the over the ear clip to get a solid fit. That works fine. The only complaint is I did not get anywhere near 6 hours of talk time on battery life. I am a realtor and am on the phone constantly....got maybe three hours max. Will have to take the charging case to get through the day.

I have had MANY Bluetooth headsets in the last few years and this one is loud and best sounding of them all. It pairs easy and the apps for download work albeit useless.
The only gripe I have is the Answer/ignore feature. Ever BT that I've had has worked almost flawless when in a noisy environment but not this one. When I'm in my work truck, I have to press the button to answer all calls as it "ignores" my request to answer. It won't even ignore the call either. But if I'm in a quiet place, it will answer every time so I know it's not defective. I hope this can get fixed in a firmware upgrade.

One of the best Bluetooth earpieces I have used. Costs a bit more but it's worth it. Great sound, no issues with your voice on the other end. Auto pick up feature means you don't have to keep it in your ear the whole time. Really like the portable charging case. One downside is that it is very light, and may not stay in well if you are moving a lot.

The headset works very elk. The multiple microphones do a great job of cutting out background noise so the person on the other end only hears you. The headset Ian very easy to put on, and is so comfortable that I often forget that I have it one. The recharging case is simply brilliant both protecting and charging the Jen headset at the same time.

I bought two of these, one for my wife and I. The battery life is decent, but we only really use it about 2 hours a day, while we commute.
The sound is great and clear, however if no one is talking, people hear the background noise. So I think the noise cancellation only works if you're talking into the headset.
We've had these for about 5 1/2/ months, and about the 5th month, the headsets are not charging. The charging station says it's charging, but the headsets tell us that the talk time is less than an hour and it seems that the power drains significantly subsequently after that.
After a few months, it seems that the pairing of the headset and our phones seem to have a disconnect. There were a few times where either my wife or I had to restart both the phone and headsets.
At the end of the 5 1/2 months, it seems both have met their limits. My wife's stopped working, won't even turn on. And about a week later mine did the same. There goes to show you not to laugh at others, karma does happen.

No complaints from those I speak with about muddy conversations. Keeps me hands free with a sleek headset that's very comfortable. Having a case for charging and protection while away from desk is great.
