Continuously disconnects, no noise cancellation...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disconnects, terrible noise cancellation, talk time about 2hours..... I recently lost my old Plantronics 925, which I LOVED!! It only gave me up to 2hours of talk time but I dealt with it because it worked excellent and I love the way it fit in my ear. It was actually the third one I've bought because I've lost them before. I finally decided it was time for an upgrade because I wanted to be able to listen to media and I wanted more talk time. I am so very disappointed that the Voyager Edge is not working out!! I love the fit and it's very comfortable but my very first convo was with my sister and she was so very irritated from the background noise that she just stayed quiet during intervals that I was walking through the house where there was noise. This was never an issue with my old ear piece unless there was wind. It also continuously disconnects and reconnects and always says "mute on," "mute off" without me touching anything. Battery life drains so fast!!! I was looking forward to being able to have it all day without needing to charge it. After the ear piece said I had 5 hours of talk time, I was on the phone for 50minutes and I suddenly had 2hours, so it said!! Shortly after, I was on the phone for 12minutes and it died. I hate that I have to get used to the feel of a different ear piece as I'm so used to this type of model but I will be returning this and I hope to have better luck with a different item.

My favorite blue tooth!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried lots of different blue tooth devices and this is my favorite because it's small enough to fit my ear without irritation and the flipper that holds it in place fits snuggly. The only problem I have with it is remembering to turn it off so that when I don't want to use it I can use the speaker on the phone - it will pick up if it's any where near your phone, which I guess is a good thing. lol I love the little charging case and it charges really fast!

Doesn't work with my iPhone 5S
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had many Plantronics headsets in the past and they are all really good at noise cancellation and have great style. Unfortunately, this particular model does not work with my phone and Plantronics has not been able to resolve the issue. My iPhone is a 5S and the software has been 8.0 and 8.0.2 during this issue. Main problems: cannot listen to voicemail on headset, answer phone by tapping answer button but the signal jumps back to the phone, signal jumps from headset to handset and back and forth randomly during calls. These are catastrophic issues and I am returning the product right away.

Another Waste of Time and Money on Plantronics
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Voyager Legend microphone started yielding poor audio quality on phone calls shortly after the warranty expired. Tried all the resetting, updating, and repairing suggested but finally opted for a new headset. Yet again I was directed to Plantronics by a Best Buy associate. Bought the Voyager Edge and it continually drops Bluetooth connection during calls. After reading online reviews, it appears that like the microphone problem, the Bluetooth connection issues are a common problem with this model and their is no "fix". Two strikes in a row for Plantronics is enough. It will be going back and replaced with another manufacturer.

Not backwards bluetooth compatible. Uncomfortable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 phones on me at all times. One (A Samsung Convoy 2) for work and the other a Samsung Galaxy 3 for personal. I had been using a Motorola Finiti for several years and LOVED IT!! Well, it died, so I decided to upgrade to a Plantronics Voyager Edge. The Latest and Greatest! Only to find out the CALLER ID feature (PBA) which it said it had was NOT compatible with the Bluetooth 2.1 of my Convoy phone. That is where it was CRITICAL I needed to have it announce to me who was calling especially when driving (Which I do a lot!) Plantronics Tech support said it was not compatible. It was also not that comfortable and I would constantly have to adjust it to stay in my ear. I am sure it is great for someone with just a newer smartphone, but for me...not so much. I ordered and received a new Motorola Finiti! ( I probably should order another one just in case.... ;-) )

Bluetooth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It says that it holds a longoing charge, but only 6 hrs every time I charge it. Not happy but will keep it as backup.

Posted .The Edge headset does have a 6 hour talk time. The 16 hours is how long you can go without plugging in the wall charger, by using the charging case. The charging case holds an extra 10 hours. You can use the following url to view the product info page for the Edge.

Connections Dropped
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The earpiece started to drop connections (after the expiration of the warranty period) to the point that it is unusable. Looking at other reviews, it appears that this is a common complaint. For this reason alone, I would suggest not buying this premium priced product.

Posted .That may be an issue with the headset or with the connection between the headset and phone. You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so:
1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
3. Re-pair the headset with your phone and test.
If the issue is the same we recommend that you disable your headset's smart sensors by powering it on, then pressing and hold the call control button + mute/voice commands button until the headset says "smart sensors off" then testing the device with another phone to determine if it's on the phone or headset. If the issue persists even on a different phone we can replace that device, it comes with a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. If the product is out of warranty you can still request a replacement at a discounted price compared to the product's MSRP. You can use the following URL to view our replacement steps:
