I loved the 1st one. I love this one also. The characters and maps are amazing. There does seem to be a bit more lag, EA connection issues, or whatever with the Ops game mode than before (freezing, skipping, and super slow).

My little brother (9) has loved and enjoyed this game ever since we got it. He collects all the golden gnomes, and loves the interface of how there isn't a main menu and that you travel and fight to go to location to location. I like how when 20 years from now there is some local Co op that can happen. So wifi or not this game is good.

The first one is great and the second continues the trend

As an adult in my early 40s, and one who gets sick when playing 1st person shooter games I can say that this game was fun to play and not full of bloodshed and violence like most games these days. However, my 11 yr old son didn't play it 24/7 like the first one, which is why I gave it 4 starts instead of 5. Still a great game though!

If you were a fan of the first pvz this one packs twice as much content and well worth the price. Good for all ages.

I find myself at times unable to pull myself away from the game. When I start playing I feel that I just need to play a little longer to earn a little more to customize and gain more characters. Deluxe edition is great because you get a boatload of extra packs and are well worth the added price. I really liked the original Garden Warfare, but I love the second. They managed to expand a great deal on every aspect of the game and you can tell while playing, that a great deal of effort and thought was put into the making of it. As an added bonus to any of you who have played the original, you can import your characters. Overall it was a great buy and kudos to EA for doing such a great job.

I still love this game it's wonderful for me and my son but I do think the original was a little bit better

This is a good shooter for kids where there isn't much violence. Keeps them occupied. I enjoy it too!

Lots of new characters on the battle field, as well as some the classic players on both sides.

This is my favorite online shooter in a long time. There is a decent single player element, and tons of unlockables. The bulk of the game is online, but there are a ton of unlockable class variants to keep you busy for hundreds of hours.

Both of my sons (ages 10 and 8) love playing this game.

This game is fun to play and I like the new stuff added

I enjoyed the base game that was the first Plants Vs Zombie Garden Warfare. This brought that back, along with a lot of what was missing in the first. You still have all the multiplayer mayhem if that was what you really loved about the first game. If you were like me and wanted something that was functional for some solo or co-op play with the AI defense gametypes. You have that here. You can no go completely solo in these variants, or summon some AI companions to fight with you to fill out the team. There's also a central battlefield between the Plants and Zombies bases that you are free to explore, and find collectibles. Theres are quests to complete for both sides, and a storymode of sorts for each side as well.
