I purchased to protect the kit lens with the Sony a6300. Inexpensive and good enough. No difference between it and other higher priced UV filters.

This lens filter is a must-have for protecting your main lens. Better to damage an inexpensive filter than your pricey lens glass. Highly recommended!

I didn't buy this for "uv" I bought it to protect the lens, better to clean a $15 filter than a $300.00 lens also protects lens from scratches.

Not only a good UV filter but also an easy to use item that will protect your expensive camera lens. I always install one on the end of every lens. They screw on very easily. I think they are necessary just to protect your lens from scratches and dirt which will ruin any photos. Note the size of your lens before purchasing because they come in different sizes.

I bought this filter to protect my lens. If it gets scratched it is a lot cheaper to replace than a lens.

My previous UV lens filter cracked and this one was the perfect replacement - screwed on very easily.

I use these clear filters on all of my lenses. Much cheaper than getting a scratch on the glass.

I bought this in conjunction with a polarized lens. They work beautifully together. I was a little disappointed that the sales guy didn't know a thing about the lenses even though he was referred to help me....he tried to sell me the wrong lens. I had to ask him if he was sure it was the correct one. After I sensed his hesitation, I went to Google and found the correct size. Bam, done!
