    Less than $20 for a quality filter that protects the lens from scratches without harming quality of the image. Looking at images, it seems to reduce haze and flare.

    I've been buying filters all my life for all my lenses and this is surprising decent for a house brand. I got it to use on MILC cameras and I love the flatness of the profile. To get similarly thin filters you'd have to spend a lot of money on Cokin Pure Harmonie which is very difficult to find.
