I opted for this slightly more expensive filter over the Insignia brand; the first time I purchased it, I noticed immediately upon taking it out of the box that there were small spots on both sides of the filter, almost as if some type of spray fell on the glass. I don't know if this is because someone opened it in store or returned it after using (didn't appear to be previously opened) or because of QC issues in the factory. I exchanged for a new one the next day and it was pristine. I don't see any obvious distortion or issues when using this and it threaded on the lens smoothly.

A good value UV filter bought in an emergency. We have a running Joke that every time we travel I have to go to Best Buy to fix or repair or upgrade in another City. I needed this filter as I dropped the lens while photographing the Grand Canyon. The Uv filter took the brunt of the force and needed replacement. This filled the bill and seems to be good quality and it fits the lens.

This UV lens filter is perfect if you’re just starting out. The price is good and it fits perfectly on my Sony 50mm lens. The case it comes in is also nice to keep it from getting scratched when you’re not using it.

A nice UV lens filter for the Canon 50mm f/ 1,8 stm lens. It protects your lens, and I can't see that it hurts image quality at all

Simple and good quality filter. Also pretty thin. Good clarity. Simply put, much better than I expected from a store own brand filter.

Excellent fit for fuji x100v 49mm lens, but a female-to-female adapter is needed to install on the male thread of the lens.

Fits my Sony 6000a camera lens, will help to protect it. I will feel less anxious about going out and taking outdoor photos now that I have given my camera lens more protection against scratches.

After dropping my camera and scratching the actually lens I went out and purchased several of these UV lens to protect my lens and I a little more at ease of not ruining my actually lens which WAY MORE COSTLY. Plus it keeps dust off my lens as well.

I recently got a new camera with several lens. I have always bought lens filters to help with uv but also to protect camera lens if dropped. Cheaper to get new filter.

This is a good uv filter for my lens. It gets rid of that annoying glare on my lens and pictures come out beautiful. I recommend to protect your glass, and this is the way to go.

Primary use for me is to protect the glass on my lens. It keeps the dust and other particles from scratching the lens itself. I have actually had this untwist itself and fall off. Never had that with my other filters. Not sure if I had it on tight enough

These lens are just what you need for protecting your other lenses and taking out the UV if you want that taken out of your photos. The fit is always good, unlike some of the other cheaper UV lens out there.

When taking pictures sometimes your lens tends to become a little dirty. Not with this! It helps protect the lens, keep the surface clean, and knock off glare.Worth it! You never have to take it off because its a lens filter that is clear
