I purchased this filter but decided to return it and get a 10-step ND filter instead. The quality of this filter is good for the price.

Product is good for the price. However use it with caution especially when using the max because of optic artifacts in your shot.

Great item. Great quality. A must have item for dramatic outdoor shots. On any filter you buy you must buy quality ones and this is the one.

The price was about the only thing good about this. I tested this filter on a few student lenses. It made the focus on my photos soft. I do not recommend.

I wanted a lens for my camera so that i could view the eclipse, the sales lady recommended that I purchase this lens and I had to have it shipped to my home address. I was sincerely disappointed because the lens did not fit my camera, it was a waste of time.

The variable ND (neutral density) filter is especially useful for imparting movement to waterfalls. As it decreases amount of light reaching camera's sensor there is greater DOF (depth of field) so camera must be mounted to tripod to avoid camera shake.

I was desperate when I made this purchase, and I regret buying this variable ND filter. The turn is loose and it has the ugly x/cross when you turn it too far. Also, there's a significant blue tinge when using this variable ND filter. I have already moved on to more reliable and not loose ND filters. I don't recommend this for ANY professional - it's not even good to have as a backup. Don't do it.

Doesn't work as well as I thought it would. The darker filter creates an overlapping effect that causes it to be useless.
