I was told by a great photographer that I should get a polarizing filter and the colors would be more vibrant and less water reflections would result. He was more than right! I have a much better appreciation for what this filter does for my limited skills as a casual shutterbug.

Really helps, and protects my camera lens from damage.

Best Buy's Platinum brand filters have both the look and feel of high quality products at reasonable prices. This polarising filter is an example. It's a very well-made filter. Multi-coated polarising filters from well-known quality manufacturers similar in quality to this one usually cost twice as much. Save money and get this one.

Using on a Sony TRV-900. Have not tried outdoors yet. In doors, for a show with stage lighting it worked fine and did not reduce the sensitivity of the camera in the low light situation. I like to use a filter mostly as protection for the lens from accidently being touched and to keep dust off of it.

This item definitely adds contrast to your photos or videos since I’m more into filmmaking this filter is definitely perfect for that especially in sunsets I just wish I got it in different sizes

Bought this for my Nikon D3100 - didn't even know there were still accessories for my camera. A gentleman at best buy was kind enough to talk to me about cameras and I ended up purchasing this lens. I can now take better daylight pictures with it.

CP filter works great, and not to mention if you purchase 3 camera accessories you get 25% off the total, so ended up getting a tripod, UV filter, and CP filter for for $108.XX and i had $100 gift card, so i got the filters for $4 a piece, pretty great deal!

I needed 4 polarizers for a set of driving goggles I was building. These were perfect as they have a bit of resistance when rotating them, plus using dual polarized lenses not only can you eliminate glare, you can adjust light intensity.

I got the polarizer to help with the glare of taking pictures of cars as well as the sun flares for landscapes. It works great and you don’t notice it in the pictures.

This filter does exactly what I need quite well. First, it protects my lens from bologna fingers when I try to replace the lens cap. It's easier to clean the filter than the lens, not mention safer. Using a UV seems to help me control by exposures. Second, while I do use a hood under most outdoor circumstance, this filter does not cause reflections or haze in my images when I do not.

Used for a wedding and was happy with the results. The sun was going down during the ceremony and the polarizer was key in making the photos turn out beautifully.

This is a great polarizer and I use it on my Canon RF Lenses. It is great for photographing water and cars as it cuts the relections on reflective objects!

Needed a polarizing filter to take pictures of fish in the water (limit reflection). Works great. The Platinum filter set on clearance is a better value.

This filter works well with my 40 mm lens. I was able to maintain sharp images with little degrading.

Comes with a nicer case than the Hoya filters. Does its job. There are more expensive filters out there, but if you just want something that does its job, this works. Solid build.
