    I was looking for a good lens cover to protect my Nikon lens at a reasonable price. It's been great. I've taken over 4,000 pictures and the quality is crystal clear.

    I only got this as an extra means of protection for my lens, UV filters don't have any use on modern cameras since they use sensors instead of film. This one does a decent job of not distorting my pictures unlike cheaper brands, but still lowers contrast a bit compared to a bare lens.

    When spending money on a high-end lens you should always get a UV filter to protect the main lens. Well worth the money and peace of mind.

    I got this to protect my lense and it does just that! Keeps dust off the actual lense and also blocks out the UV. Get one if you are a novice, it is a no-brainer.
