There are certainly better filters out there but can't really beat the price on this one. Definitely good for taking photos as a hobby, but wouldn't use it for anything professional.

Bought this for my new Canon 18-200 IS lens, which is $700. Wanted this to protect the lens. I was a little worried that a polarized filter would darken indoor pix, but I haven’t had any issues yet.

This review applies to both the polarising and UV filter. They are both good quality filters, equal to the better quality lines of better-known brands. The frames feel solid and well-made, the glass is clean, and multi-coating (usually available on more expensive versions of some brands) reduce image degrading reflections. Since almost everyone uses a zoom lens that goes from wide-angle to short telephoto as a normal lens, an added bonus is the thin frame, which minimizes vignetting at the wide end.

This lens filter definitely cuts out glare and makes your shot look crystal clear. I took a shot at the water in my birdbath and I could see the ripples in the water. Well worth the price.

It's subtle at first, you'll think nothing's happening...but Things Are Happening. It helps! Particularly if there's some annoying bright glare you want to get rid of...I would be wary of anything cheaper.

I have two lenses that require 72mm filters. A recent trip to Bryce N.P. where both lenses were constantly used, an extra polarizer was needed to avoid swapping filters to get the right shots This worked well!

Great value for the money but not as good as other brand name CPL. Emergency use only...

This filter greatly improved the picture quality and light balance in almost every shooting situation, but especially in back lit shots.

For the price point, it did the job. I had to shoot on top of a roof in the middle of the day, needed something to bring out my colors. Worked really well.

I am a novice photographer so I don't have much experience to compare filters but I was very satisfied with the glass and photo quality.
