A bit pricy but does the work. It’s a nice shape and simple to use.

Just what you need when you're traveling all over the world!!

Used this adapter for my European trip a couple of weeks ago. No problems in UK, Germany, Poland, Sweden and France. Having a chargeable USB port also was nice.

I purchased this for a recent trip to the U.K. Functions as advertised and has the added ability to convert 220 voltage to 110 voltage, so all U.S. chargers and small appliances work with no problems. The unit is a bit heavy, so it may need support to stay plugged in to loose sockets.

Reading the instructions, it seemed like if I wanted to use any US electronic other than an iron or hair dryer while in a country with 240 volts, I should use the converter function. Well that was not the case. I was charging my battery pack using the usb cable to adapter (the box that is attached to the usb cable) and then plugging the adapter into this product, and charging my phones using the two USB ports. 15 minutes later, I started to smell burnt plastic and when I looked, there was smoke coming out of my adapter. I quickly pulled out the entire unit and saw that my adapter (not the product but the box) had a hole in was partially melted. Maybe I was misreading but perhaps they should have clearer instructions on which switch, adapter or converter you should use. Be careful.
