Tried this with both my Canon 80D SLR & 18-135mm Kit Lens, and my Sony FDR AX-53 camcorder. Both were too heavy. Reason for only two stars is that the box picture showed a SLR mounted on it. But in my experience it didn't work. Hope this helps.

Bought this stabilizer for our Nikon camera because it was inexpensive. We can now shoot high quality video of on going construction projects. The stabilizer allows us to quickly walk a project and capture progress footage. We also use parts of the video for social media.

I bought this to use with my android cell phone but it was not able to provide a stable and controlled result. I purchased as an open box item at a good price, but I returned it, I guess I was not the first person to find it hard to use.

I bought this camera stabilizer because it is impossible to take quality video holding the camera in your hand. My son used it at church to film the mime team and the video was awesome . This is a must have item especially for shooting video with a dslr camera.

I was able to hook this thing up to my Nikon D5000 no problem, and it worked well. However to try to get it stabalized is a whole other story. The instructions were pretty basic and didn't offer much help. Maybe they should add some tips or something on how to do it.

It's a little clunky to get it balanced the first time and requires modifications after lense changes. However, it is cheap and performs reliably. Must steady footage and lighter than some alternatives.

Can’t get that perfect shot that isn’t all shaky, this stablizer will help you do just that. It can be used with action cams and dslr cameras.

Overall, this was a good product. For not being motorized, it was the best it could be. My only con would be that the camera mount can be in the way of the lense of a camera.

Purchased this for my husband. It's a little bulky, which presents a slight issue when traveling. However, it's light and easy to carry....even for me.
