Very sturdy and stylish and above all not as expensive as the others.

This phone case works great but by me iphone. It is very sturdy.

As much as I love the 7 plus, its a large phone. I got tired of putting it in my back pocket, let alone carrying it by hand all the time or front pocket of a pair of sweat pants which would make them droopy due to the weight of the phone. I found this holster to resolve those issues. Clip it to your belt and your hands are free. Love the easy twisting feature to angle the phone at your choice. There's a release lever that helps pop the phone out a little for you to easily get access. In the car I usually do one of 2 things, 1) while still on my belt I twist the angle horizontally while threading the seatbelt below/behind the holster, 2) Unclip it altogether. While seated in the car, twisting to vertical position is easy but you'll have to slide the holster along your belt to an acceptable position to let it hang and thread seat belt under/behind the phone (seat belt stem/female connection may make this option a bit cumbersome). Of course, if you have Bluetooth set up in your car with voice commands, keeping the phone holstered is not a problem if you choose. Kickstand is nice but only good for landscape position. Excellent complete coverage protection around the entire phone as I have dropped mine several times. Having said all this...it's an excellent holster to have in your arsenal of cell phone cases

I am a physician and use my phone a lot. I needed a case with a clutch so I could just clip it to my coat pocket for safety from falling off. So one of the workers at Best Buy recommended me this case. I really love the case cause it's sleek and convenient. And not as Borgous as other cases . It doesn't make my phone look huge or thick. Unfortunately the clip broke 1 month after use. The plastic tiny part that holds the wire just crack. Not sure how . Cause I just noticed that it was crooked when I try to clip it to my coat pocket. And I really loved the functionality of the clip. I wonder what I can do to get it fixed or replaced and whether there is a warranty . Otherwise will have to switch to life proof case

I found this case when I was using my iPhone 5. Perfect for belt clip and with the attached stand. When I got my iPhone 6 Plus, I got a new PLT case. Again I was pleased with the protection and function. This year I upgraded to the iPhone 7 Plus. There was an available clip case that came with the new iPhone. I got it as part of the package. Although useful was never as pleased. The PLT iPhone 7+ case was not at Best Buy yet. After a multitude of issues with the non-PLT ie. slipping out of holster, pinching clothing into holster, chipping the protective screen cover, I finally realized I would not be happy until I got the Platinum iPhone 7 Plus case. Also, the new case has a stand on the clip to accommodate the larger phone. I am happy with this case - for generations :)

I have been using Platinum brand cases since my iphone 5, and starting using the holster ever since the 6 plus came out( big phones and dress pants don't mix well for me). It's a minimalistic slim case that covers every part of the phone not just the corners and back like some other cases without adding any bulk to the phone. It offers decent drop protection...great protection if by chance you drop it while it's in the holster. The kick stand can come in handy when you want to watch something and keep your hands free. Lasted almost a year before I had dropped it from about 6 ft landed on the corner and scuffed up the case BUT left the phone unscathed. I ended up buying a replacement just because I thought the scratch looked ugly. The case is well made and my phone is still as flawless as the day I bought it.

I've been using these cases since my first iPhone which was a 5. In addition to protecting the phone very well, the hip holster is an added plus which you don't find in many iPhone cases today. I love it because I am an old techie and love to have my phones on my hip... Since using this case, I've dropped my iPhone from the top of a staircase multiple times and nothing happened to the phone. The only negative that I have is that the holster latch breaks rather easily if you bump into something or get it caught. Just be careful

Great case for those looking to get a belt clip for iPhone 8 Plus. Love this accessory for going on bike rides, runs or working out at the gym. Can handle weight of iPhone 8 Plus while exercising with no problem. Clip holder can fit other similarly sized iPhone 8 Plus cases. Case that comes with this product has a nice feal, but dislike the split pieces of the case. Will hold up from 5ft drop, but case might have to be repressed together. Kickstand on back of case is a nice feature.

This is my third case from Platinum. I have had this same case for 3 different phones and in every case, it out performed my expectations. The case is not as bulky as other cases and has a Matt finish that makes holding on to the phone easy. The belt clip will break before the case ever will. Be careful of the spring loaded clip, that’s what will break because you always squeeze the clip. I don’t mind because the case protects the phone so well. I’ve never had a cracked screen.

This case is a great case of the iPhone 7 Plus. It provides decent protection without adding a lot of bulk. it also works well with magnetic phone holders in my cars, as it allows you to attach a metal plate to the back without causing a problem for the device or the case. As with other cases of this class, I think they're a bit overpriced, but when you spend $800 plus on a phone, spending 5% of the total cost on a decent, protective case isn't unreasonable.

This is my favorite iPhone case. This is not a "let's go camping and fishing" case, neither is it a "DON'T DROP MY PHONE" case. This is the perfect every day case. I've dropped my phone a couple times and it's come out unscathed. I have no complaints. Best case I've ever owned. Again, it's just rugged enough to keep your phone safe from cracks and scratches. Very tight fit and the holster is heavy duty without feeling heavy duty. Great all around phone case.

The case is well made and includes the belt clip. No additional screen protection is included, but I found I didn't need it and prefer to not use anything additional on the screen when possible. This is my second case of the same type. The first belt clip was broken by me during an accident and was not a problem with the case. I am typically careful with my phone but have dropped it a few times from waist height without any damage. All glass surfaces (front and camera lens on back) are recessed and protected when the case is laid on a flat surface. I've used many cases and find this to be the best compromise of protection/functionality.

This is my favorite case I’ve used. It is slim lined so it doesnt make my phone feel bulky. The belt holster works well and holds up fairly well. Ithe hotter holds up pretty well however it can snag on things if you are not careful and if you catch it just right with enough force it can break. For the most part it does what I need it to do. I have dropped my phone multiple times and so far my phone has survived even on concrete.

The first Platinum Case I purchased from Best Buy did not work on my iPhone 8 plus. Its was a tight fit. The super efficient and nice lady at the phone counter in the Myrtle Beach store immediately ordered me another one. It was less than a few days and it came to the store and I picked it up today. It works great and even better, it will charge my phone through the case on my two coil charger. My old case was an OtterBox Defender, and I had to dismantle the case every night to expose the back of the phone to charge it. Now I just charge and go Yeah Now!!!

Wanted something to clip my iPhone 7s on to my belt. This fit the bill. Now 18 month later out of the blue one side of the hinge of the clamp broke. I can still use it, but need to be careful. Not sure how long the other side will hang in there. Other than that I thought it was one of the best things out there. Maybe a fluke. Oh well. I guess I would say to buy it. Overall very good quality.

I bought this primarily for the kickstand. I have a similar case for my 6+ that had the kickstand and it was perfect. There are only two knocks on this case. 1) it's really tough to get off was you put it on, and 2) the opening around the charge port is rather small, hence if you have a charge adaptor for cables from the older iPhones it will not fit. Other than that it's perfect.

When I upgraded to iPhone 6s Plus, I was hoping to get by with just an outer cover to protect my new iPhone, but I soon knew that I was going to need a holster with a belt clip. This Platinum case was what I was expecting to pay and it is worth the money. It stated that it was made for a iPhone 7/8 plus, but works fine with my 6s Plus. I have bumped the case a few times and thought I would have some scuff marks, but none yet. The belt clip is very sturdy and I feel it is great protection for my iPhone.

I have used this product on my iphones for the past 3 years. The holster is great product. I don't use the case included in the kit that often because I prefer a case that offers more protection. Most slim cases fit the holster fine. I have snagged the case on things and broken the clip off of the holster a few times. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I have had several of these cases from Platinum as I upgrade phones. They all suffer from the same problem. Snag the holster on something, and the clip breaks off. They put the pin that holds the clip too close to the edge, and the lack of material makes the plastic crack and the pin falls out. Every time.
