So, i needed a stand for my Nanlite lumipad 25 which has a 5/8" mounting socket and couldn't really find a stand that met those exact measurements but i then came across this Platinum light stand and i was pleasantly surprised that my Nanlite lumipad 25 actually fit on the stand. Hopefully the pictures i upload can give you an idea for your self as well as see additional measurements of the socket with the 1/4" & 3/8" Mounting screws that are reversible. As of right now i am very happy with the stand. In fact i bought 2 of them since i have 2 Nanlite lumipad 25 led lights and 3 Nanlite PavoTube ll 6C RGB leds which i use for Ambient background lighting. I highly recommend it. I apologize if my pics seem repetitive.

I bought two of these light stands and I’m thinking about buying two more. I bought an insignia studio flash kit about five years ago that came with two light stands but I was worried they would break on me and wanted some light stands that are more durable. I included a picture of both to show how much thicker the platinum light stands are.

I just needed a simple light stand and this has been perfect for my needs. I primarily use it for small lighting tools such as my Canon 600EX II-RT speedlight. However, I've also used it for bigger things such as my El Gato ring light. I have had no issues so far and the quality is also pretty good. It feels sturdy, well built, and not like cheap plastic. If there comes a time where I need an additional light stand, I will gladly buy another one of these.

I use this stand to hold some LED light panels. It is a good middle quality stand for this purpose. It is not overly bulky, but is much sturdier than the stands that came with my lights.

I order this product not now anything about it just to the sells person word on how used they would be for A off camera speed flash. They come in there own sack and are very easy to put up and take down and give me great range of movement with my speed flashes . You will need a adapter to put on the tripod to allow you to mount your speed lights to the tripod

For the price these serve their function well. There is a durability problem. I bought these to replace one which I had previously which broke right at the joint between the second and third rods from the bottom. The plastic piece which holds them together broke in two when a little pressure was applied which, in my opinion, should not have caused it to break. It broke right where the piece attached to the lower tube and the piece that holds the upper tube making it impossible to use.

Excellent quality for the price. Built solid and very sturdy. Much better than an equally priced one I bought off Amazon (Neewer). Holds my Paul C Buff AlienBee very well with umbrella.

Excellent Quality. I love the weight. offcourse if you use it outdoor just make sure you have a sandbag

Sturdy stand. Compacts easily and packs away easily. Great value.

Not for heavy-duty use. I use w/an off-camera flash unit and umbrella and have had no problems. However, I would not load this with much more than 3lbs of kit.

It's a great and well constructed stand that supports flash, lights, umbrellas and soft boxes without problem. Also it's very portable.

This tripad is very easy to use and carry where ever you want to go.

Best tripod to place my self leveling laser to be able to have plumb and level surfaces when building walls.

Great stand works in both in and outdoor environments with little worry.
