Worst case I have ever owned. It lost its shape quickly and afforded little no protection. The cover always looked worn and frazzled. Latch came apart quickly.

It’s a case.. and like car color it’s largely based on personal taste. For me, I like it. I like the look and feel of it. I like the added height of the case to help prevent the pencil from getting knocked off. The case for the iPad itself fits nicely, easy on, easy off when needed.
I didn’t want a attached keyboard (have much experimenting), a loose keyboard is far more flexible to use (think your corded keyboard on a pc). I began to desire a nice leather case, and this fits the bill, especially at clearance price (which also seems to make writing this a waste of time).
So, why only 4*? 2 reasons, sorta. 1) the cut out for the usb-c connection is a tad small. Using an Apple branded cord (and some 3rd party) it’s fine, so you may never notice it. However on my 10ft Phillips cord, it doesn’t full seat in the connector. It will charge but it’s not secure by any means. My stock cord, and Apple USB-C to USB-A adapter fit fine. So I guess you could say the case is built to Apple’s spec’s and some cords are not. Not really the cases fault in that view, but it something to be aware of. When replacing cords look for one with a thin plastic/rubber boot on it and your ok.
Sorta comes into play with the lid. Some people have faulted the case in their review as it appears not all lids are dead flat (when closed). Mine isn’t, and there’s no more local ones to compare with. But there is a slight bow in the lid, that said I’m NOT 100% convinced it’s flawed... maybe the flat ones are flawed... I say this because when I inspect the lid when opened and holding the iPad at the desired viewing angle, it really appears that the bow is helping ensure contact between the case frame on the angle adjustment field on inside of the lid... Who’s right? IDK, I just know mine works fine, holds the angle well and the lid is not at risk of being snagged on something while closed..
I’d recommend it to anyone that likes and knows leather. I’m not taking it back is all I know :)

Best iPad Pro 11 case with style

I’ve researched every iPad Pro 11” case on the market, and there are several that I considered buying. However, this one won me over after seeing in person. It has all the features you want and need in a top quality case, including auto wake/sleep, typing angle, numerous viewing angles, open shell in the right places for pencil and all buttons, and offers a magnetic closure to secure the pencil while it charges on the go. Premium top grain leather is beautiful and stylish, making it perfect for business or pleasure.

A little bulky for me. Plus, the magnetic flap likes to flop around and get in the way. There needs to be a stronger magnet n the back of the cover to hold that clasp in place when you want to fold it back. The leather is nice, but scratches and gets gouges very easily. This is okay if you like your leather to look worn over time, The other issue is that the front cover on all three units on sale at Best Buy were heavily warped. The cover does not flay flush on the iPad; rather it touches on the middle and the flares away at the top and bottom.
Overall, a nice-looking case, but too bulky for my taste.
