I reluctantly bought this thinking I didn't know if I wanted my wallet & cell in the same place but turns it really ended up helping my back because I kept so much junk in my wallet so I just keep my ID, the few credit & debit cards that I actually use, and my cash so I don't have to go searching for my wallet or phone & it's just made life much easier & I still keep my big junk wallet in my truck & everything I need is in one place & it's a quality product that you don't see much of these days but the leather is handmade & you can tell because it did have to do a little breaking in. Def recommended to those who are as disorganized as I am & keep Reciepts for everything for months on end & now I track them in email & keep the wallet phone nice & slim. I thought I might take it back before I opened it but I'm glad I did because it really forced me to organize and it turns out it's been much more beneficial than I ever dreamed it would be. I know it's deep for a review but it's a six start review if it could be.

This Platinum - Genuine American Leather Folio Case for Apple iPhone in Bourbon brown is really nice looking. It’s pretty sleek and polished looking. I actually prefer something a little more rustic, so I may put some sand paper to it (avoiding the stitching!) It took some getting used to regarding the fold over flap. It was awkward to know how to hold it while talking on it and definitely awkward at first when taking pictures. Another thing that I’ve noticed is that people think I sound like I have a cold when I’m talking directly into my phone when it’s in this case. However, if it’s in the case and I’m on speakerphone, it’s fine. Also, when I take my phone out of the case and talk directly into it, it’s fine. So, I’m sure it is somehow from the case. I love the 2 low profile slot pockets on the inside of the front flap. They hold your driver’s license and credit cards well. It’s so nice to be able to grab my keys and this case and be able to leave my heavy purse behind!

This case is well made and holds the phone and cards well. It has four pockets for cards. Three are slots on the left flap for one card each and one is a pocket that opens toward the center of the case and can hold several cards. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a window pocket for my driver's license, like the one I had for my previous iPhone.

No case is perfect, but each time I upgrade my phone, THIS is the model I keep coming back to. I love the feel of the high quality leather and I NEED the slots for cards and a place to tuck a bit of cash. I also appreciate the extra protection that a folio case provides, even when using screen protectors. I would definitely recommend this case.

I have used TwelveSouth’s Book Book leather cases for the past 3-4 iPhones dating back to 2013. This time I got tired of Book Book as the card holders get weakened to the point my cards fall out if I tip my case. That is because the sleeves have a thin band of leather which stretches with time. This Platinum case has thicker sturdier leather and is $20 cheaper. Come on...I love this case.
